Layout: Christmas in Texas

Christmas in Texas ain’t Christmas without TAMALES! Yummy!!! Tamales are year round, but they are extra special (in my opinon) during the Holidays. My fellow Texans know what I’m talking about. When you bite into a fresh, hot tamale for the first time during the Holiday Season, they just melt in your mouth. Mmmm…my mouth is watering just TALKING about it! LOL

With that said, here is my layout, about our Christmas Tradition:

Christmas in Texas

And its based on the sketch #105 from Sketchabilities

#105=sketchabilities

I had a lot of fun with this layout. I used some older SEI papers (Holiday Cheer) and the die cuts were perfect for make the fun banner. Added mist from Tattered Angels and a few stamped snowflakes and buttons from my stash.

I also submitted it to ACOT’s December Guest Designer’s Challenge – “Year in Review”. You were supposed to select a challenge during the past year that you had not completed. I usually do most if not all challenges, but there was one that I actually did not get to do. And that was October’s “Christmas Challenge” where you are supposed to scrap about what is unique about your state/country during Christmas.

Thanks for looking! 🙂
