I have been wanting to scrap this photo of my step-son as Captain Hook for a while, ever since I got the Cricut Cartridge “Paper Doll Dress Up”. It had a pirate in there, along with the accessories – mustache, hook, knife, and skull with crossbones. I tend to struggle with die cuts as I’m still new to using the Cricut Expression 2 machine. But with the help of Sketch-N-Scrap’s #50 sketch, I am quite pleased in how my layout turned out.
I used Bo Bunny for the background, and the rest of the paper is from Basic Grey, along with the chipboard title. I used cardstock to cut out all the die cuts – pirate boy, skulls with cross bones in the corner and the “arrgh!” statement.
