Layout: Not too tired to Smile

Sketch-n-Scrap’s sketch #62 was so much fun to work with.

Sketch #62

I pretty much stayed true to the sketch.

Not too tired to Smile

Funny story with these photos. My husband, my brother (not pictured), my sister in law, and I ended up helping my BFF move from a house to an apt on a very hot South Texas day. June 5th to be exact, in 2010. Well, that is also my brother’s birthday. So after we were done, we all went home to shower and then ended up celebrating his birthday with pizza and cake. A black cake with blue icing to be exact. That explains why I’m showing off my teeth in the bottom photo (just to be silly!). So, knowing the story behind the photos, yes, we look exhausted, but we’re not too tired to smile! LOL!

I chose the color scheme – greens, blues, and purples with a hint of neutrals (black, cream, brown) – for ACOT’s August color challenge. I think the pictures go well with the colors and the sketch definetly helped!
