Sketch-N-Scrap’s latest sketch was so much fun to work with. I know I’ll be using it again very soon! 🙂
I opted to switch out one of the photo spots for a 3X4 Sn@p card and I didn’t use a banner. I swapped out one of the papers for washi tape.
The photos are of my parent’s dog Kandie. Kandie turned 14 years old on August 17th and the photo on the left is of her at age 4 months. What a little cutie pie!
This layout is also for ACOT’s Cherryland Challenge. The hostess Sher has created this long story, and she gives only bits and pieces each month. And for every month, you have a challenge in a This or That format. To make a long story short, I chose to use Princess Maraschino this month, who is watching things change over time. You could use a furbaby (from puppy to old age); your child (from newborn to college); etc. With Kandie turning 14 years old and her allowing me to take a picture of her in almost the exact same position as her 4-month old photo, I knew I had to scrap these photos. And Sketch-N-Scrap’s sketch was PERFECT!
