Nuts About Sketch’s newest sketch is a very unique one. It uses just one, large circle photo with a few embellies here and there. When I saw it, it took me about 45 mins to find the PERFECT photo. Once I did, I literally went to town on this layout and thought OUTSIDE the box, which is very unlike me. But because this sketch was so different and unique, it was perfect to get outside my comfort zone a bit.
The photo I found was from Thanksgiving 2009. Thanksgiving is more important to my family than any other holiday. Since about 1997, my mom’s side of the family has gotten together to celebrate Thanksgiving. Its usually the ONLY time (sometimes) we get to see each other in this crazy, busy world we all live in. This photo is extra special because we are all there. Plus each generation wore a particular color. My grandparents are in the rocking chairs, wearing white shirts. Their children and their children’s significant others are all in red. Me, my brother and my cousins are in green. Then the great grand kids are all in blue, with the only girl in pink.
My list of supplies include:
background paper, plaid paper, scalloped paper, dotted paper, “thats” sticker, date tag: SEI
bling, small brown alphas: Bo Bunny
Burlap: DCWV
teal paper, white small alphs: Authentique
SewEasy: WRMKs
floral spray, yellow rose: Prima
teal flower: KaiserCraft
white flower: Recollections

Great job with the sketch – I think I would have been stumped too!
