With the holidays just around the corner, I am finding less and less time to scrap. Which sometimes, especially after a rough work-week, frustrates me a bit. But there are those moments in a busy week that sometimes all I have is 10 minutes here, 30 minutes there. And you know what? I’ll take it!
So my next layout was inspired by Sketch-N-Scrap’s “Inspired by…” #11, which uses hexagons.
I pretty much stayed true with the sketch, especially the hexagons part.
I ended up submitting this layout to ACOT’s Rewind Challenge, which allows us to go back to the previous month and do a challenge we missed due to running out of time. The challenge I chose was the Washi Challenge, where the hostess wanted us to put our washi on solid cardstock, then cut it out into a shape. I missed out doing that challenge, and with the hexagons, I thought it was perfect!
My washi is by Queen & Co; paper and journal card is by Webster’s Pages; and veneer bits and pieces are from Studio Calico.
TFL! 🙂
