This past weekend, my girls and I finally got together after 7 long months to get our scrap on! It was great! I managed to get 6 layouts done. New pics (homeowner photos). New scrappy papers/embellies (Teresa Collins ‘Nine & Co.’ collection). New scrappy room in my new house.
My first layout was inspired by the What’s On TV? Challenge hosted by Joannie over at ACOT. She had chosen “One Tree Hill” as the show, and the challenge was one photo must show a tree.
And with me going so long without scrapping, I knew I needed a sketch! And Sketch-n-Scrap’s sketch #78 was what I needed to help me jump start my mojo!
The layout features pics taken by my very awesome photographer friend Misty who took our photos outside and inside of our new home 2 days after we got the keys! I stayed pretty true to the sketch, moving the sequins over to the right, and the word art I had added to the left, right on top of the larger photo.
