With my latest order from A Cherry On Top filled with gelatos, I am having a blast with them as there are so many different techniques out there.
This latest layout features gelatos mixed with gesso, which I painted on the dark brown pattern paper.
I used the Lemon gelato from Faber-Castell and it really brightens up that dark paper, making the pattern paper strips and photos POP!
I even use a little bit of the gelato and rubbed it into the Studio Calico veneer arrow I used:
This layout is based on a sketch over at Let’s Get Sketchy – Week 3 May:
I changed my layout a bit by rotating the photos, and not putting anything in the upper right hand corner.
This layout was also inspired by ACOT’s 3 in a Row Challenge, where I used the 1st column – something brown, burlap, and painting.
My list of supplies are as follows:
Papers, “fun” chipboard piece: Echo Park
Burlap: DCWV
“documented” sticker: MAMBI
doily: Doodlebug
veneers: Studio Calico
painted background: Gesso mixed with Faber-Castell Gelato in Lemon
“hello” title, sequins, tabbed folder: from stash
