With the passing of Prince, there are quite a few tributes going on. Even in the scrappy world, there is a way to honor Prince. One is thru his music. And over at ACOT, Barb’s Music challenge for the month is to use Prince’s music – whether its album covers, or songs, or lyrics….to inspire us.
I chose to use his song “Adore”, from his 1987 album, as my title:
These pictures are of my sweet Bear whom we lost last August. The pictures were taken just a few months before she fell ill. Just look at that sweet face!
I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in “Night B4 Christmas” (from my May 2016 Use It or Lose It Challenge as a “second chance” item) and a Crafter’s Workshop stencil. I then layered solid cardstock, MME vellum and Basic Grey pattern paper, using a clip from Heidi Grace to hold the pictures together (so to speak). I then layered on washi tape from Love My Tapes and Freckled Fawn. The embellishments are from Prima and Studio Calico (veneers) and Heidi Swapp (glittered).
TFL! 🙂
