Adorable Furbabies, February 11th

Good morning all. We started our weekend last weekend COLD. We didn’t have any precipitation, thank goodness, just frigid cold. Wind chill was a single digit! Aaack! Penny stayed warm though!

The girls love posing for me, even though it looks like they are judging. LOL.

Shelby and Jasmine turned FIVE years old yesterday! I always take their “birthday photo” first thing in the morning, after breakfast. Took me a while to get the right shots though! Even Penny joined in on the fun!

Penny had a great day! It was a Squirrely kind of day!

It’s PAWTY time! Those “monsters” are called “Tearables”. Their limbs and head are being held by super strong velcro. They are meant to “come apart”. You play tug of war with your dog, and once all the limbs/head come off, you put it all back together and it’s whole again!

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Jasmine and Jackson Layouts

Good afternoon everyone! Hope y’all are staying warm, whereever you’re at!

Last weekend, I got two layouts completed. One was for the January Make the Cut Challenge, and the theme is being used for my February Pet Challenge (Use the word “love” or a heart in your title AND use hearts on your layout)

I Love My Dog: I used Echo Park pattern papers/stickers; Inkadinkado splatters; Freckled Fawn enamel dots; and The Paper Studio puffy hearts.

Don’t Stress Meowt. I used Reminisce pattern papers/cardstock stickers; Park Lane title sticker; Doodlebug washi tape; The Paper Studio die cuts (cats); and Freckled Fawn enamel dots. This for the Jan Book Lover’s Challenge (Option 1: use only black, white and grey)

TFL! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, February 2nd

Hello everyone! Hope y’all are staying warm, whereever you are. South Texas is in due for some frigid temps. Again! Boo!

My husband took these pictures of Shelby on the couch, with Jackson behind her.

Last week, Miss Penny wore her PJs for a couple of days in a row. She sure does look cute!

Jackson was quite hyper last Friday and he was playing underneath a dog bed and sheet. Afterwards, he was resting. Looked super cute tucked in.

I ordered a new set of PJs for Penny as well as a fleece sweater from Tooth and Honey. They arrived on Saturday! She modeled them for me.

Shelby says Hello!

My husband walked into the bedroom to grab his wallet and found Jackson and Penny together on the bed. So sweet!

And last but not least, the Shelbster decided to tear apart her snowman. I sent the pics to a friend and she said it looked it was an “Olaf Massacre”!

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Winter Crop Layouts

Hello everyone! Two weeks ago, several cherries at A Cherry on Top threw a Winter Crop with challenges and fun games. I used up some older stash, mixed with new stash and had alot of fun.

Layout: As Long As The Sun Is Out
Challenge: What Winter Looks Like (either where you are OR what you THINK it looks like)

Winter in South Texas can be a bit bipolar. We can run the heater and AC in the same day. Ask a Texan: Is it going to be hot or cold today? Answer: Yes. On Jan 1, 2022 we had a high temperature of 95. 36 hours later, we were 27. Penny isn’t a fan of the cold but she sure love the sun!

I used PhotoPlay papers, ephemera and stickers; Doodlebug sun and cloud clips; The Paper Studio washi tape; Simple Stories Alphas (pink, blue and grey) and Moxxie alphas (green)

Layout: MEOW
Challenge: Diagnol Design

I used PhotoPLay papers, stickers and ephemera; and ribbon from my stash

Layout: Best Friends Furever
Challenge: Use It Up – use up a sticker sheet or package of embellies and also use something you’ve been hoarding for a while.

I used up what was left of a Jillibean Soup sticker sheet. I used 19 stickers on my layout. I’ve also been hoarding the veneers too. I used 5 of them.

I used Bazzill cardstock; Jillibean Soup papers, stickers and veneers; and washi tape from my stash.

Layout: Paws Down I’m the Cutest Dog in Town
Challenge: Washi Tape Challenge – use at least one tag and cover it with washi tape.

I decorated my tag with washi, and then added stickers.

I used Echo Park pattern papers, stickers and ephemera; Bella Blvd washi tape, The Paper Studio ribbon and beads are from stash.

Layout: Oh Yeah!
Challenge: Image Inspiration – use the image below and use at least 3 items that inspire you.

I used all the colors and was inspired by the gum drops, glasses, lined paper, “hello” and bold black lettering.

I used Eyelet Outlet glasses and Simple Stories papers, enamel dots, puffy stickers, foam stickers, and washi tape and ephemera.

Layout: SNOW!
Challenge: Mood Board – 50% of the layout must be grey, and choose at least 3 items that inspire you based on the mood board below.

I was inspired by the heart, “baby it’s cold outside” phrase, the pop of pink and hearts.

It snows every 20-30 years here in Corpus Christi. Sometimes it melts before it hits the ground, sometimes we get 10 to 12 inches. On December 8, 2017, we got a light dusting. Makes for some pretty pictures.

I used Asuka Studio papers; Simple Stories chipboard and foam stickers; and glitter washi tape by The Paper Studio

TFL! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, January 26th

Hello everyone! I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of winter and so are my dogs! We have had to run the heater more than usual down here and Miss Penny is wearing her PJs more often. She also loves her blankets!

Shelby has been posing for me lately, wanting me to take her picture too

Mr. Jackson has been staying warm and cozy on a blanket in the living room.

Shelby loves saying GOOD MORNING DADDY when my husband wakes up, showers and sits down in the living room with his coffee before work.

My 2 beautiful girls.

Penny waiting for her daddy, blanket still on.

Even if it’s cold out and she has her blanket, she still is watchdoggin’.

And last but not least, the headless dog was hungry! LOL

Adorable Furbabies, January 19th

Hello everyone! I have some adorable photos of the pups and Mr. Jackson to share with you.

Jasmine posing very lady like for me.

The pups got a variety pack of benebones from the New York Santa Paws and Shelby was chewing on one while being surrounded by the others! LOL.

Miss Penny has been sporting her PJs more often lately. She loves them and they keep her warm.

Mr. Jackson hanging out in my scrap room.

Penny was watching the FedEx guy across the street! I’m sure she was expecting a delivery, her Ollie food or even more PJs!

My sweet handsome boy ❤ ❤

We had our internet upgraded yesterday. While the tech was here, I had the girls in my office with bones and toys. Miss Shelby popped her head up to say HI! Check out that tongue!

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, January 7th

Happy New Year everyone! Hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and a good first week of 2022.

The pups had a GREAT Christmas!

Jasmine was dreaming about Santa Paws

Christmas Morning!

Jackson was a good kitty! Check out his stocking full of snacks!

The girls sharing their bed together after breakfast.

The girls having fun with a toy!

We woke up to 27 degrees on Monday morning. It was PJ time for Miss Penny

By Wednesday, we had warmed up to the 70s! Penny was liking that MUCH better!

Yesterday, the girls were sitting close together, with Penny watching on. It was like they were having a meeting

And last but not least, Jackson decided to join Penny and Shelby to watch out for people on the street.

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, December 21st

Hello everyone! Got tons of pictures to share with you today. The furbabies have been C.U.T.E.!

Shelby wanted to take her tennis ball to bed with her.

Mr. Jackson decided that my desk was a great spot to hang out.

Miss Jasmine sitting in the “wedge”, wanting attention

Miss Penny wanting me to stop working and take her outside.

Mr. Jackson looking like he’s trying to decided whether or not he wants to be mischevious or not.

I was baking cookies over the weekend and The Shelbster was RIGHT there!

Oh My Dog!

More pictures of Jasmine. One of them looks like she’s laughing!

A few months ago, I bought Penny another pair of PJs from Tooth and Honey. This pair was being discontinued and all sales were final. Lucky for her, her size was the ONLY one available! On Sunday night, we dipped down into the 30s, first time for us this season. I put them on her and she took a nice little nap. Later on, as I was about to start dinner, I noticed her looking at the Christmas Tree. I turned on the lights and she turned around, and totally POSED for me! Right in front of the tree! You know I had to take a picture (or five. Okay..maybe it was 10!). She was really rocking those PJs!

Shelby next to the tree. Do you see Jackson?

When our alarm went off Monday morning, Penny didn’t even stir. She was nice and warm and cozy! And she ended up sleeping in another hour. I don’t blame her!

She even ate her breakfast later than usual too. She didn’t want to leave OUR bed, so she got breakfast in bed, wearing her PJs.

When I told her she was spoiled, this was the face I got!

The Shelbster and her “perch”

Speaking of perches, Mr. Jackson was caught having a blast on top of the swing.

And last but not least, Miss Squishy Face!

Until next time, bark and meow on! Merry Woofmas!

Adorable Furbabies, December 14th

Good morning everyone! My furbabies have been SUPER cute lately!

Mr. Jackson passed out on my lap (with his favorite blanket, of course)

While everyone was snoozing, Jasmine got some special attention (and some love!)

Jazzy loves the zombie toy

Jackson loves the wrapping paper!

This past weekend, I put up the Christmas tree with lights and ornaments. Shelby was a GREAT help!

Jasmine and Jackson so adorable!

Jackson also loves hanging out under the Christmas Tree.

Until next time, bark and meow on. 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, December 6th

Hello everyone! Been super busy with the holidays and work, so little time to blog. But I’ve got some super cute pics of the furbabies!

Jasmine and Jackson napping on the couch. So cute!

Penny and Shelby on our bed

Shelby telling her daddy how thankful she is for him.

More sweet Jazzy pics

Jackson decided to nap on my husband’s hand while he was on his laptop. Oh well, guess he’s stuck for now. LOL.

Shelby and I taking a short stroll.

Mr. Jackson says HI

And last but not least, Jackson being a little ham.

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂
