Adorable Furbabies, April 16th

Hello everyone and TGIF! The furkids sure have been hamming it up lately.

Jasmine and Shelby posing together

Later that day, Shelby was over it.

Jasmine was telling me all about it, then dramatically layed down

Shelby says HELLO

Shelby wanted to chew on a bone, but was too lazy to get it out of the basket. LOL

This belly ain’t gonna rub itself. Jazzy says will you rub my belly?

I was in the laundry room and Shelby poked her head out the doggie door

I had a horrible migraine on Tuesay and I had the most wonderful nurses

And last but not least, Jazzy wants her chest scratched too!

Until next time, bark and meow on!

April Layouts

Hello everyone! TGIF! I’m sharing today a few layouts I did this weekend. All are doggie related and guess what? I didn’t use any dog themed papers or embellishments! I really love how each of them turned out.

Everyday Moments: I used Tattered Angels and Inkadinkdo mists; Fancy Pants pattern papers and enamel shapes; My Little Shoebox mini alphas; Cosmo Cricket butterflies; Little Yellow Bicycle gardening tools; Bo Bunny chipboard flowers; Freckled Fawn “family time” embellie; Jillibean Soup phrase sticker.

The layout is for ACOT Pick A Day Challenge (Earth Day); and ACOT Pet Challenge (scrap your furbabies outside)

You are…..

I used Tim Holtz paint; Heidi Swapp stencil and Simple Stories “I am” papers, chipboard and stickers.

My sweet Penny Lane posing pretty, November 2020.

Close-ups of each section.

Hello Spring: For this layout, I used “Forever Young” by Bo Bunny.

My sweet Jasmine. 🙂

My inspiration came from the Mood Board Challenge. We were to use at least 2 colors and 3 other items that trigger inspiration.

I used all the colors, and was inspired by the flowers, the cactus, and the “Hello Spring” in the middle.

TFL! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, April 7th

Good morning everyone! The pups have been enjoying the fresh air, warmer temps and had a wonderful Easter filled with treats and toys!

Isn’t this the CUTEST picture ever??!

Easter basket filled with jerky, mini lamb bites, interactive puzzle toy, cookies and a mini cake from the Dog Bakery. Other toys from Chewy.com

Sweet Jazzy sitting pretty in our recliners.

Mr. Jackson claiming the penguin toy as his own.

I ordered some “muttkins” from Annie’s Pooch Pops. They are beef femur bones, filled with marrow and a peanut butter cookie wrapped around them. The girls enjoyed them! ALOT!

I caught Jackson being crazy! He actually HISSED as I took this picture!

Last but not least, Miss Penny Lane scratching her back on a patch of grass. LOL.

Until next time, bark and meow on!

A few weekend layouts

Good afternoon everyone! Last weekend I managed to get a few layouts done and even used my cricut!

Trouble never looked so cute: Photos of Shelby and Jasmine getting caught in the act. Tearing a puppy bed, getting into a container filled with zip ties, etc. June 17, 2017

I used PhotoPlay papers; Recollections washi tape, Cricut title and various stickers from PhotoPlay, Sticko, and KaiserCraft

I used this Double Page Sketch:

Signs of Spring:

Our hibiscus blooming last spring. March 2020. Unfortunetly it didn’t survive our Ice Storm last month….

I used quite a few manufactures who are no longer in business. They include Basic Grey (pattern papers), Jillibean Soup (tag), Cosmo Cricket (butterflies), Little Yellow Bicycle (birds) and Tattered Angels (splatters in Vibe). Other products used are Simple Stories alphas, Tim Holtz distress oxide in forest moss, EK Success border punch and Bazzill cardstock.

I used the following sketch for this one:

Ho Ho Ho: Shelby waiting Santa Paws. I used PhotoPlay “Muttcracker” collection and Bazzill cardstock.

The Secret Life of Pets: One of a kind photo of ALL 3 of my girls!

I downloaded the cut file from the PhotoPlay website and used DCWV Playful Pets collection (pattern papers, ephemera, and stickers). Cardstock is Bazzill and the alphas are MME and Jillibean Soup

A Doggie Thanksgiving: My girl enjoying their Thankgiving Feast I bought from The Doggie Bakery. November 25, 2020

I used Bo Bunny “Floral Spice” pattenr papers, ephemera, and bling; Freckled Fawn gold leaves; Jillibean Soup and The Paper Studio alphas. Washi tape is from stash.

TFL! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, March 24th

Good afternoon everyone! The weather is warming up and the furkids are loving it! They are either sunning themselves or rolling around in the leaves.

Snapped a sweet picture of the Jasmine and Shelby.

Hubby was trying to fix my computer in my scrap room and the girls supervised.

Both Shelby and Jasmine staring at me to get what they want. Shelby wanted to go outside; Jasmine wanted love.

When the weather is nice, Shelby loves to run and chase after her tennis ball.

I had gone to Earthwise Pets last week to stock up on their fave snacks. They sure love those Crinkle Canines and Black & Whites!

While I was outside with my husband, Shelby and Penny were watching us from the front door.

And last but not least, my furbabies passed out in my scrap room. I guess I wore them out! 😉

Until next time, bark and meow on!

March Layouts

Hi everyone! I managed to get 3 layouts done last weekend.

Happy: A selfie of me with my scrappy friends last summer. I used Amy Tangerine and Jen Hadfield papers; a Basic Grey brad; Prima flowers; Kaisercraft title and word art stickers; and Doodlebug twine. The tags were made from a template using up some scraps.

I used the following sketch at ACOT:

Let’s Taco ‘Bout It: I used Bazzill cardstock; Doodlebug pattern papers, washi tape and enamel shapes; Jolee’s tacos/hot sauce packets; and Moxxie alphas. That avacado sticker? Found at H-E-B in the party section during Cinco de Mayo!

Journaling: Six months after only able to go through the drive-thru of our fave Mexican Restaurant, they were finally open for dine-in. The food was better than ever. The salsa was spicy; and the chips were crispy. We were in HEAVEN! Sept 25, 2020

Be a Dreamer – Follow Rainbows: Once I had taken photos of Penny wearing her PJs, I’ve started to “collect” anything scrappy in the rainbows and unicorns dept. LOL. This layout features her wearing them in mid-December last year. The papers/stickers are from a kit called “Chasing Rainbows” I found at Hobby Lobby (The Paper Studio brand). The washi tape is from Recollections.

I used the following sketch:

How much is that doggie in the window?

Hello everyone!

My March Pet Challenge at A Cherry On Top is for you to use a song that has an animal in the title. There are quite a few out there. Some examples are: “Hound Dog”; “Eye of the Tiger”; “Cat Scratch Fever”; “Who let the dogs out?”, just to name a few. You could even use the catchy yet quite annoying song that most toddlers like – “Baby Shark”. LOL. Normally this is just a PET challenge, but because there’s alot more songs for people to choose from, I chose to allow all animals. If you have zoo pics to scrap, this might be the challenge for you!

I chose to use “How much is that doggie in the window?” for my title to go with this photo I took of Miss Penny while I was coming home from my morning walk. You’ll have to zoom in to find her!

Journaling: As I was coming home from my walk one morning, I looked up to see Miss Penny sitting by the window, looking out. I thought it was cute and immediately stopped to take her picture. I knew exactly how I would scrap this and which title I’d use.

I used Echo Park pattern papers and stickers; a Pebbles journal spot; Doodlebug washi tape and MME alphas.

Come out to A Cherry On Top and check out my challenge and many others!

TFL! 🙂

February Layouts

Hello everyone! I’ve been so busy, not much time to scrapbook nor upload them to my blog.

Today I’m sharing with you a handful of layouts I did last month.

If all else fails, snuggle with your kitty: Doilies are Doodlebug; papers/embellies are Echo Park

Life is Good: I used Cocoa Vanilla (papers, stickers, ephemera); MAMBI doily; and sequins from my stash

I Love You: Dear Lizzy papers; KaiserCraft title sticker; Recollections doily; and LYB chipboard

Think Pawsitive: Queen & Co washi tape; Adorn It orange pattern paper; and Reminisce stickers, b/w pattern papers. Cut the little silhoutte dogs using my Cricut

TFL! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, March 16th

Hello everyone and no time long see! I’ve been really busy, but kept taking pictures of the furbabies!

For Valentine’s Day, I got them truffles and oatmeal bones from the Dog Bakery, along with Conversation Heart plush toys. They enjoyed them.

Last month, Texas was hit very hard with a winter storm that we’ve never seen in our lifetime! South Texas alone broke historical records and we dropped down to -8 as a wind child. To stay warm, the babies stayed inside, cuddling up with each other and blankets. Miss Penny was sporting her PJs 24/7 for 10 days straight; while Mr Jackson was giving me the stink eye!!

After the temps started to rise – above 50 degrees – the furbabies finally got to enjoy the sunshine. Especially Jackson and Miss Penny!

At Earthwise Pets, I found some Canine Crinkles – doggie “chips”! The girls LOVED them!

The girls were napping together so sweetly one evening, melted my heart <3:

Mr. Jackson is such a HAM!

Got all girls posing sweetly for me

Miss Penny waiting for Squirrely

Look at that sweet Jazzy face!

Jackson all stretched out next to the Shelbster:

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, February 11th

Hello everyone! Hope y’all are staying warm, especially the folks in Texas. The whole state is frozen! Brrrrr!

Last week, while we had warmer, more seasonable temps, Jackson was bird watching from the tall grass.

Jazzy stopped from chewing on a toy to pose for me

On Friday, Shelby was ready for the weekend!

A friend of mine cooked some venison bones for my babies. They really enjoyed them!

Yesterday, the girls turned FOUR years old! Can’t believe they aren’t puppies anymore!

We celebrated with peanut butter “pup” cakes with peanut butter frosting and homemade peanut butter ice cream courtesy of Earthwise Pets. They got spoiled with lots of toys and treats!

Even Jackson liked the toys!

While we were in the 80s yesterday, we are down to the 40s with wind chills hovering around 30 today. Brrrr. Jackson is staying warm:

Miss Penny is cozy in her PJs. She was actually snoring here. LOL

Until next time, bark and meow on!
