Good afternoon everyone! The furkids have been really cute the last couple of weeks.
The floral bed in the photo below usually is near the window. But looks like Jazzy wanted it next to Shelby’s bed. They look real cute napping together.
Shelby was assisting me while I put clothes away. Look how she is holding her tennis ball! She never dropped it!
Jazzy was helping Daddy put a table together.
Penny got a new elevated dish this week. I’ve noticed that she is eating a bit slower and which her turning 7 years old earlier month, it might be easier for her with an elevated dish. Took her less than a day to get used to it.
The girls got their Barksgiving Dinner from The Dog Bakery! Cranberry stuffing, cornbread, Turkey pot pie, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes and 3 pumpkin cookies. Yummy!
My furbabies and I wish ya’ll a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Good afternoon everyone! Just a few pictures to share with you all.
Shelby never got the memo that she’s no longer a lap dog anymore. LOL. She’s starting to get into the habit (every day, at least twice a day) by climbing in my lap while I’m trying to work. She’s so silly.
The day before Halloween, we had gotten a cold front, dropping the morning temps down to the 40’s (with a wind chill of 31). That is NOT Penny friendly weather and she stayed inside, with a blanket to snuggle with.
Jasmine and Shelby being pretty girls:
Penny was OUT for the count by Saturday night. And yes, she was snoring!
My husband had to work a few hours on Sunday afternoon and Penny was waiting for him once it got dark.
And last but not least, Mr. Jackson relaxing, being Mr. Cool.
Hello everyone! No time long see! Things continue to stay busy for me in every aspect of my life. I take pics of the furkids, just sometimes don’t have the time to share with everyone. This post will be a long one. 😉
A few weeks ago, we caught Jackson being super silly, playing with a dog bed. LOL.
Miss Penny had her annual exam and shots 2 weeks ago. Penny Lane gets super nervous when we go to the vet. Actually car rides frighten her. With the help of our vet, we are being more Proactive vs Reactive. A few years ago, it started with adding a calming collar she wears daily. Then calming ointment/spray. Last year it was calming chews daily. Now, she also gets CBD OIL. And boy did it help tremendously! She had no issues getting in the car nor did the car ride upset her. She still wasn’t a fan of getting out of the car and walking to the door, but once inside, she greeted the ladies at the front desk. She had no issues walking down the hallway to the exam room. She wasn’t happy when the tech had to check her vitals, but she didn’t even flinch when she got her shots. I can’t believe it! No whining, no shaking, nothing. Just chilling with some panting. When the vet came in, she was a little nervous, but settled down quickly. I was so proud of her!
When we came home, she and her siblings (including Jackson!) received a special treat — fro-yo!
Afterwards, I managed to get all three girls posing for me! These pics deserved to be FRAMED!
Miss Shelby being a Miss Squishy Face!
I worked late one night and all four of the furbabies waited patiently in my office.
Last weekend, both Penny and Jackson wanted ATTENTION!
I had my girls over for a scrappy weekend and Miss Shelby took NO TIME in saying HELLO to her favorite friend — Amanda!
And last but not least, as we were going to bed, Jackson and Shelby were napping together.
Good afternoon everyone! I hope everyone is staying cool from the brutal summer heat everyone is experiencing. My furkids are staying cool by staying INSIDE!
On Monday, I went into town to check out a brand new pet store here called Earthwise Pet. They had just opened up a few days ago and I’ve been anticipating on them opening. And they didn’t disappoint! They had tons of stuff – foods/treats, along with some alternative medicines (CBD oil for example). They had shirts, pet decor, essentials, food, treats, etc. They even have homemade dog cookies, dog ice cream and a doggie cookie and cake mixes available too. I know where I will go for my girls’ birthdays! They also have a small cat section too. They offer “spa” services too – nail trim, hair cuts, shampoos, etc. They reminded me of a smaller version of Dogologie. We have one in Fredricksburg (near Austin) and I really love going to that one. I bought Jackson a couple of new treats (he’s super picky) and for the girls, I picked up some dried duck hearts, CBD treats, sweet potato treats, no-hide peanut butter bones, 3 homemade cookies, peanut butter ice cream, cookie mix, and a shirt for myself.
Monday, they received each a cookie and a sweet potato treat. Jackson got some Alaskan Salmon bites. Everyone enjoyed their new treats!
Later that evening, Penny looked like she was giving up on the day. She was OUT!
Shelby appeared to be throwing in the towel by Wednesday morning! LOL
And last but not least, I gave the girls’ their no-hide peanut butter bones. It looks just like rawhide, but it isn’t. Its easy to digest and again, another treat that was a hit!
Good afternoon everyone! Been extremely busy the last several weeks, so I only have just a few photos to share with you all.
The Dog Bakery was offering a Summer Barkecue Box that consisted of maple bacon ice cream, a beer can plush squeak toy, a giant hamburger cookie, a bag of barbque dog biscuits and a festive bandana. All the girls enjoyed the ice cream and cookie (chopped up of course) and playing with the toy. I had to get an extra plush toy so both Shelby and Jasmine could play with one.
They each posed for me beautifully with their bandana! Shelby was the one who wore it for a few hours. She didn’t want to take it off!
