Penny Lane and Jackson Layouts

Hello everyone! Over the last weekend, I actually got some scrapping done – 6 pages total!

Donut I Look Beautiful: Miss Penny wearing her adorable donut fleece sweater from Tooth & Honey. I thought it would be cute to have a donut theme, and use a pun for the title.

I used P13, Mintay and DCWV papers and alphas from Hobby Lobby. I downloaded the die cut donuts from Miss Kate Cuttables. I added sequins and beads for “sprinkles”.

MEOW:

Jackson checking out the treats he got for his 6th Birthday (July 2022). I used P13 & SS papers; SS and 7 Paper stickers and a mix of Carta Bella and Webster’s Pages enamel dots/shapes.

Another Day in Paradise:

My sweet Penny Lane doing what she loves — soaking up the sun.

I used quite a bit of older stash – The Paper Studio alphas; Lawn Fawn papers; CTMH paw print stamp; EK Success border punches and flair from Pink Paislee. Cut out the large sun die cut using my Cricut.

Confettie Wishes: Miss Penny Lane on her 10th Birthday (Nov 2022)

I used a variety of washi tapes to create a background (The Paper Studio, Freckled Fawn, Recollection); SS foam sticker and little birdie and gold Thickers

The Bird in the Cage: For Christmas, a friend of mine got Jackson this interactive bird in a cage. At first, Jackson didn’t know what to think about it. But he quickly got into it. Even Shelby was curious! Dec 2017

I used Bo Bunny and The Paper Studio alphas; EK Success paw print border punch; and the rest is Doodlebug (Kitten Smitten collection).

Here Kitty Kitty:

Miss Penny was looking out the window and she saw a kitty (fluffy and orange).

Butterflies are Cosmo Cricket. Everything else is Doodlebug Kitten Smitten

Adorable Furbabies, May 24th

Hello everyone! Just a handful of photos of the fur kids!

Mr. Jackson is LOVING the table outside

The Shelbster is all smiles!

Jasmine and Shelby had their annual shots/exam on Saturday morning. The girls did great. Shelby wasn’t a fan of them looking at her left back paw. Last Wed I noticed her licking it more. It was small and red, so I sprayed some hot spot stuff. But by Thursday night, it was twice the size and she was sleepingโ€ฆalot. Also felt a little warm. So then I thought..something probably bit her and she has an infection. So I cleaned it up and put some triple antibiotic ointment on it Thursday night and 2x on Friday. She seemed to sleep better and not mess with it. Saturday morning I noticed a hole (small pin hole). I pointed it out to them Saturday morning and yep, something had bit her and that “hole” was due to it draining. Ughโ€ฆnot sure WHAT bit her, so he gave her antibiotics for 14 days and ointment too. She is NOT a fan of the ointment.

Last but not least, Miss Penny Lane saw squirrely! Oh boy!

Until next time, bark and meow on! ๐Ÿ™‚

More NSD Projects

Hello everyone! I had a busy weekend but managed to squeeze in 3 more NSD projects before the deadline on A Cherry on Top (May 15th @ 11:59 PM).

Black & White Challenge: I used Reminisce pattern paper, sticker, cut apart card; Doodlebug paper clip; Bazzill cardstock; Recollections pawprint punch; WRMKs heart punch. I punched the paw print first, then punched the heart so the paw prints were centered. For the white splatters, I used white Acrylic paint and flicked my brush. The washi tape is from my stash.

Tricky 6×6 Challenge: Since I’m still trying to use up the PhotoPlay “Happy Mad 4 Plaid” collection, I used the 6×6 pad and the matching stickers. Cut the diamonds using my cricut and use Tattered Angels mist for the drops.

The last one is a scraplift. Challenge was Leap Frog (you scraplift the person who posted before you). I totally enjoyed making this layout and will definetly do this design again. Everything is from PhotoPlay “Happy Mad 4 Plaid’.

NSD Projects

Hello everyone! Last weekend was NSD – National Scrapbooking Day (May 6th). A Cherry On Top always has an amazing crop that starts Friday and goes thru Sunday, with challenges due about a week later. I’ve gotten quite a bit done so far.

Not So Fast Scrap: Made 3 tags using the PhotoPlay Happy Mad 4 Plaid

Fast Scrap – Inchies: Create 6 1×1 inch squares and decorate them.

Followed by a challenge. Everything is Doodlebug

DIY Background Challenge. Used 2 different stencils – The Crafter’s Workshop and Stamperia. Simple Stories pattern papers, stickers and Tim Holtz inks (Saltwater Taffy and Bundled Sage)

Summer Movie Challenge. Use a movie poster for inspiration. Alphas are from my stash and everything else is Echo Park “I Love My Cat” collection

Stencil Challenge. Used a Heidi Swapp stencil with TH distress oxide ink in Prized Ribbon. Mist is Tattered Angels in Cork. Used the mist to color the veneer butterflies, then “painted” nuvo drops in bright gold to give them a bit of shimmer. Papers/ephemera is PhotoPlay “Rememberance” collection. Prima flower (one large flower which I took apart), a MME brad and alphas.

Here’s some close-ups:

Adorable Furbabies, May 11th

Hello everyone! I’ve got your weekly dose of adorableness!

Shelby and Jasmine

My husband has been putting in alot of extra hours and instead of working late on weeknights (past 9pm) or all day on the weekends, he put together a desk in my office. Jackson has claimed it as his own!

Last Saturday was National Scrapbooking Day (NSD). To celebrate, I did challenges and played games on A Cherry On Top. The girls were exhausted!

Shelby was playing with this puppy dog toy and isn’t this cute how she placed him in the dog bed? Like he was tired too!

I was working on a layout on Sunday when Jackson decided to lay on top of everything, including pictures and scrappy goodies. LOL. I guess he knew I was doing a layout about him.

Another worn out pup!

And last but not least, Miss Jazzy – all smiles!

Until next time, bark and meow on! ๐Ÿ™‚

Adorable Furbabies, May 3rd

Hello everyone! Got lots of adorable pics to share with you.

On April 27th, we celebrated Jasmine and Shelby’s 6th Gotcha Day with us! Just look how little they were! Squeal!

We celebrated with cake and ice cream from Earthwise Pets and toys from Burke’s Outlet and Chewy.com

Jasmine looks like she is melting into the bed.

I set up the puzzle I bought from Hobby Lobby last month and Penny tried it out for the first time. Shelby was still not very interested and Miss Jasmine did it twice! Go Jazzy!

Look at that sweet smile!

Jasmine can pass out anywheres and on anything!

And last but not least, somebody has cattitude!

Until next time, bark and meow on!

Adorable Furbabies, April 26th

Hello everyone! Have some cute pics of the furbabies to share with you!

It stormed and thundered all day Sunday and Mr. Jackson didn’t have a care in the world.

Shelby says Hello!

Miss Jasmine says HI also!

Shelby was chewing on a hoof when she got distracted. There were people across the street, doing stuff. She wanted to go see, but never dropped that hoof! LOL.

Layout: Time to Stop and Smell the Flowers

Hello everyone! This past weekend, I finished a layout that had been sitting on my table for almost 2 weeks. I kept playing with arrangement, papers, embellishments, etc. until I got it right!

Photos are from March 2019. Penny in the front yard, enjoying the Spring air!

I used papers from Paige Evans (Splendid and Garden Shoppe), Thickers and My Little Shoebox alphas, Bo Bunny bling, a MME butterfly, sequin Mix from Picket Fence Studios and KaiserCraft stickers (the large flower and the small flower, circles, phrase). And those stickers are from Paisley Days, an older KaiserCraft collection. It’s crazy how well they match with the Paige Evans papers.

I submitted this layout to 2 ACOT Challenges: Title Challenge and 3 in a Row Challenge. I also used it for my own Pet Challenge (scrap those pets outdoors) that will run thru until May 31st. Check it out here!

Adorable Furbabies, April 11th

Good morning everyone! Today is National Pet Day and you know how much I love my babies!

Look at those sweet sisters! โค โค

A couple of weeks ago, our local no-kill kitty shelter had a fundraiser. Donate any amount and submit a photo of your pet. Dog, cat, bird, fish, etc. Anything under $30, anybody in their office would draw your pet. Anything above, and one of their staff who are artists would draw your pet. I submitted a photo of Jackson and just CHECK out the beautiful portrait!

The girls got lots of fun things for Easter. A carrot cake from The Dog Bakery, new toys, including a new interactive puzzle toy that I found at Hobby Lobby! Imagine that!

Jasmine really enjoyed the puzzle and I wasn’t sure if it would be too hard for her, because of her eye problems, but that didn’t slow her down at all. It was great seeing her get into it and do well.

Check ou that yummy cake!

And last but not least, check out Jasmine’s sweet smile!

Until next time, bark and meow on! ๐Ÿ™‚
