More puppy layouts!

This past weekend I worked on a couple of more layouts featuring Jasmine and Shelby when they were about 3 months old. Makes me squeal when I see how little they were!

Insta-Love: This layout is based on the Becky Fleck Sketch challenge #160 that ACOT is hosting. I also submitted this for the Valentine’s Day Challenge #3 – Using lots of PINK!

Here’s the sketch I used:

The products I used were Bazzill cardstock; Bo Bunny/Pebbles pattern papers; MAMBI chipboard stickers; Fancy Pants flair; Echo Park border sticker; Anna Griffin “sending hugs” sticker; Recollections washi tape; The Paper Studio triangle stickers; and pink paw print stickers from the Dollar Store.

CUTE: Submitted to ACOT’s Book Lover’s Challenge (I used Option 2, 5 different pattern papers) and Alphabet Challenge (using the letter F for my theme. Furbabies!). I used Kiwi Lane papers; The Paper Studio alphas; Freckled Fawn enamel dots/shapes

Just look how little those babies were! ❤ ❤

Layout: Best Friends

Hello everyone! This next layout features Mr. Jackson hanging out with li’l Shelby a few years ago. And when I say “Little Shelby”, I mean 3 months old!

Aren’t those the cutest pics ever! I used Kiwi Lane pattern papers and even fussy cut the “I want to MEOW with you forever” heart. I used a cut file and backed some of the hearts with scraps from the KL collection I was using. The alphas, veneers, die cuts and stickers are from a variety of Jillibean Soup collections.

The layout is based on one of the Valentine’s Day Challenges over at ACOT – Hearts! And I had to use at least 10 of them. As you can tell, I used a variety of hearts – from a cut file to veneers, die cuts to enamel shapes and stickers.

Adorable Furbabies, February 18th

Hello everyone! I have tons of new pics of Mr. Jackson and Miss Penny!

Penny, for some reason, decided to jump in Jackson’s kitty bed and just chill out! LOL. She even stuck her tongue out at me! Silly girl!

Last Saturday was really nice and sunny (still a bit cool) and Jackson was listening to all the birds while sitting on top of the swing. LOL.

Jackson decided to get a closer look, so he got into his tree.

Penny sure does love her daddy! ❤ ❤

We watched the American Rescue Dog Show on the Hallmark channel the last 2 nights and Shelby was watching it too!

Right before bed, Shelby popped her head up to say HI!

And last but not least, Mr. Jackson relaxing under my chair in the bedroom.

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Puppy Layouts!

Good afternoon everyone! I was able to get a couple of layouts done this weekend and they feature Shelby and Jasmine when they were little!

Refueling: I did this layout for the A Cherry On Top Color Challenge. I had to use at least 2 of the colors posted (I used all 5). My products are blue pattern papers by Kiwi Lane; red and green pattern papers and the stickers by PhotoPLay; alphas by Jillibean Soup; clear and black dots by Queen & Co. The washi tape is from stash (probably got it from Hobby Lobby)

And the color palette I used is:

I Woof You! One of our members in the ACOT community threw a Valentine’s Day party that included games and challenges. One of the challenges was to use a pun! Instead of titling my layout “I Love You” I chose “I Woof You”. I used Kiwi Lane papers and Reminisce Papers.

Adorable Furbabies, February 11th

Hello everyone! Sorry its been a while. It has been a very busy two weeks with work and stuff. But that doesn’t stop the pups and Jackson from being CUTE! 🙂

A couple of weeks ago, Penny sat straight up and stared out the front window. At first I didn’t know what she saw, but then I saw it. It was a cat. Across the street. Walking AWAY from her.

Last Monday, after feeding the girls, I always make myself a cup of coffee and then go int our bedroom to make our bed. Well, plans changed.

After a few minutes of playing with her tennis ball, Shelby couldn’t even make it all the way to her bed.

Last Friday, after breakfast, Jasmine and Shelby managed to pose for me oh-so-sweetly.

Mr. Jackson has been back to knocking things off on the small table and giving me this look. He is definetly the one in charge!

Jasmine wanted belly rubs!

Jasmine and Shelby turned 3 years old yesterday, but we celebrated on Sunday since its easier on our work schedules. I baked carob chip pupcakes with peanut butter frosting. They had cotton candy doggie ice cream and plenty of fun toys to play with!

After the party, Shelby had to get her Birthday Girl Cup Cake Toy before heading to bed.

The morning of their birthday, I got a GREAT group photo of them together, and each separately. They have grown up to be such sweeties.

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, January 30th

Good afternoon everyone! Is January over with yet? IDK about you, but boy has it been SLOW MOVING.

The furkids have been cute this last week. What am I talking about? They are ALWAYS cute!

Jackson decided to catch some sun on a pile of wood.

Before bed Friday night, Jackson wanted to play peek-a-boo!

The girls were very playful this week.

And last but not least, Mr. Jackson decided to claim the center of the room as his own. The girls actually had to eat their breakfast AROUND him!

Until next time, bark and meow on!

Adorable Furbabies, January 22nd

Good afternoon everyone. Hope everyone is staying dry if you’re here in South Texas. My pups are, and some are giving Mother Nature the stink eye (ya’ll might know who I’m talking about).

Last Tuesday evening, Jackson was petted by my husband and decided to lie down and go sleep. My hubby was STUCK!

The next day, all Penny wanted was her daddy! She was even whining until he let her jump in his lap!

On Friday, as I was getting dressed and putting on makeup to go run some errands, Shelby was snoozing. And the way her body was, lol….boy was she comfortable!

My husband ran some errands on Saturday and Shelby waited by the door for him. She sure does love (and miss!) her daddy!

After a busy weekend, Shelby just couldn’t make it all the way to the bed

Yesterday, the weather was fairly nice. The girls were just chilling together, with Shelby chewing on a stick (but stopped to take a sweet picture with sissy)

Earlier, I had given the girls some new toys I had picked up at Ross a few weeks ago. The look on Penny’s face while Shelby destroys it is PRICELESS.

And last but not least, since Penny is tired of the off/on rain with no sunshine, she decided to start pouting.

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Adorable Furbabies, January 14th

Hello everyone! I have a few pics of the furkids to share with you.

Last Thursday, before 9am, Shelby was DONE with the day! Just check her out!

I guess she needed to “rest up” because later that day, her and Jazzy came flying through the house, playing tug-of-war with the Grinch!

Just look at that beautiful mess!

On Saturday, I was in the my scrap room for a little bit and check out these two! Silly girls!

Yesterday, it warmed up a little bit and I caught Jackson sitting on top of the swing, checking out a squirrel

Last but not least, Jackson hanging out with Jazzy after breakfast this morning.

Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Stash busting Sunday

Hello everyone! Hope everyone had a good weekend. I actually had a ME day yesterday. I hardly ever have those and when I do, I’m too exhausted to do anything. But yesterday, I completed 3 layouts and even a card!

I chose to dig deep into my stash and found a partial Dog Collection from American Crafts dated 2012. I had a few full sheets and scraps and this is what I came up with!

Hanging with my Peeps: ACOT Music Challenge. Products used are Bazzill cardstock; American Crafts pattern paper and Thickers; Reminisce, Paper House Productions stickers; CTMH glitter tape; My Little Shoebox mini alphas and Momenta veneer paw prints.

The music challeng was based on an album cover and you pull inspiration from it however you wish.

The road to my Heart is paved with Pawprints: ACOT Double Page Challenge. Products used are Bazzill cardstock; American Crafts pattern paper; Reminisce stickers and CTMH glitter tape.

Double Page Challenge offered the following sketch:

Squirrely Watching: Scraplift the January Guest Designer and Manufacturer Challenge with a Twist. Products used were American Craft papers; 7 Paper, MAMBI, Reminisce stickers; Amy Tangerine Thickers; Freckled Fawn chipboard and cork arrow; Eyelet Outlet brad; Tattered Angels Mist; Bazzill cardstock; Momenta veneer paw prints and Scrapberrys flair.

The layout I scraplifted was this one:

The Manufacturer Challenge was to use manufacturs that start with an A (American Crafts, Amy Tangerine) and the twist is to use something else that starts with an A. It can be an embellishment, a technique, etc. Mine are the “arrows”.

My last project from the weekend was a card for ACOT’s Card Challenge. Products used on this one were American Craft papers; Anna Griffin sentiment; ACOT sticker; and Fancy Pants, Queen & Co, and Eyelet Outlet enamel dots.

The card challenge offered two options, with the BONUS being doing both. Option was to include an animal (I used a dog sticker). The second option was to use the following sketch:

A couple of layouts using PhotoPlay "Fetch" collection

Good afternoon everyone! We’re staying home this weekend, so I decided to get some scrapping done.

I used PhotoPlay “Fetch” collection for both of these. The first one is based on the A Cherry on Top’s Becky Fleck Sketch #156:

Pics are of sweet Ruby Mae all smiles in the yard. The doily and twine are from Doodlebug.

The sketch I used was:

The second layout is for A Cherry On Top’s “Make the Cut” challenge and “3 in a Row” challenge. The Make the Cut Challenge offered the following sizes to cut our pattern papers:

4 1/2 x 9
3 1/4 x 10
3 x 9 1/4

And this is what I came up with:

Sweet Jeffrey snoozing the day away. Most of it is PhotoPlay with the exception of the doily (Doodlebug); sleeping dog sticker (Sticko); “LOVE” sticker (Anna Griffin) and “Best Friend” sticker (Reminisce)

The 3 in a Row Challenge is set up like a Tic-Tac-Toe board. This month our choices are:

washi tape              5 or more pattern papers                 color blue

rings/circles          inking                                                    die cuts

2 or more photos        buttons- 2 or more                             date

I went diagnol — 2 or more photos; inking and the color blue.

TFL! 🙂
