Good morning everyone! Boy, have my furbabies been SUPER cute!
Last Friday, it was near quitting time and Mr. Jackson wanted attention and laid right on some of the papers I was working on. LOL.
Hubby worked late, and the Shelbster was waiting for him by the door.
Sunday was Penny Lane’s 8th Birthday but we partied it up on Saturday!
It was sweet that all Penny wanted to do was chill on her birthday, and Shelby was wanting to hang out with her.
She had wonderful weather last weekend too. Lots of sun!
On her birthday, they all got to sample the Birthday Donut!
The Shelbster has been wanting to sit next to me while I scrapbook but the chair is just too darn small for her to relax. So we bought a bench for both her and I to use! I think its Shelby-approved!
What a long doggie day!
Last but not least, Penny and Shelby watchdogging together! ❤ ❤
Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing with you my example for my Pet Challenge I host each month over at A Cherry On Top. My idea for this challenge came from a sweet photo I took of Miss Penny a month ago.
This month’s challenge involves journaling. And lots of it. At least 5 sentences. And here is my layout:
My journaling is as follows:
Penny is one of the sweetest girls we have ever had. She’s goofy and quirky in her own way, but we love her so much. Rob and I joke that if she was human, she’d be our little drama queen. She gives stink eye when she is mad. she whines and moans when doesn’t get her way. She also isn’t a morning person and loves to sleep in. This one evening, she sat in front of us, moaning and groaning and wagging her tail when I asked “What is it Penny?” She did that for a few minutes, then left. She came back and did it again. That’s when I noticed the time. 9:15PM. It was past her bedtime. She wanted to be tucked in. I asked her “Do you want your blankie?”. Sure enough, she walked down the hallway and into our bedroom. She led me towards her bed and laid down, waiting for me to put her blanket on her. That’s all she wanted.
The products I used on this layout are Echo Park pattern papers, 7 Gypsies ruled paper, Eyelet Outlet washi tape, The Paper Studio glittered paw prints, Moxxie alphas in tan, Thickers in black, Simple Stories dog house sticker, KaiserCraft work art and doggie stickers. The button, twine, and corrugated paper are all from my stash.
TFL and Hope you can check out all the other challenges over ACOT.
Good afternoon everyone! Over the weekend, I got a little bit of scrapbooking done. Today I’d like to share with you two doggie layouts. One is of Shelby, and the other is of Jasmine.
Best Dog: Just look at that sweet girl posing with her toy! Everything is PhotoPlay and some of the “tags” are just cut apart cards, and others are just stickers.
Its based on this fun sketch posted for the My Mood Challenge over at ACOT.
My Girl: My sweet Jazzy just sitting so pretty. Another layout using only PhotoPlay.
Hello everyone! Last weekend I had my scrapbooking friends over. I managed to get 7 layouts done. All are more current photos – July thru Sept.
Birthday Kitty: Mr. Jackson celebrating his 4th birthday with kitty treats and a tuna and cheese kitty cupcake. I used quite a few products on this page including papers from Bazzill, DCWV, Jillibean Soup and CTMH; Mrs Grossman’s stickers and Thickers alphas.
You are officially on IGNORE: Photos are of Jackson giving me the stink eye during Hurrican Hanna in July. He was mad because I had shut the doggie door down and he was stuck in the house. He even pawed at the radar (smaller photo). I used PhotoPlay for this layout.
Love My Dog: My sweet Jazzy with a bone. That head tilt just melts your heart, doesn’t it?! I used Bazzill cardstock for the background; Doodlebug doily and washi tape with papers, ephemera and stickers from Bella Blvd.
Cutest Face: Another Jazzy layout. Just look at that face! Cut file is from Cricut (just search for ‘paw’), Tattered Angels mist and papers, stickers and chipboard from Bella Blvd.
So Proud of You: Photos are of Miss Penny off to her vet visit last month. We have had to be proactive vs reactive to help her feel safe and after giving her CBD Oil, Calming Chews, and a Heavenly Hounds Bar, she was cool as a cucumber! I was one proud momma!
For this layout, I used Eyelet Outlet Washi tape, Bo Bunny alphas and papers, stickers and chipboard from Bella Blvd.
Cat Scrap Fever: The title was coined by my husband and the pics are of Mr Jackson attacking some dog pattern paper. What had happened was was on that day, I was scrapping the pups and that piece of pattern paper fell and Jackson caught it and went to town. LOL. I just love his expressions. So instead of cutting off what he tore, I saved it and decided to use it with these photos.
The “puppy love” pattern paper is Simple Stories. I also used Echo Park alphas and Bella Blvd pattern papers and chipboard.
If I SITS, I FITS: These photos are of the Shelbster sitting in one of the chairs in my scrap room. LOL. She barely fits. The mini alphas are Bo Bunny while everything else is Bella Blvd.
Good morning everyone! When you hear “social distancing”, you think of the 6 feet apart rule during the pandemic. Well, you know what? Dogs are GREAT at social distancing, and for this month’s Pet Challenge at A Cherry On Top, the topic is Pets during the Pandemic. Whether it be your furbaby becomes your “new coworker” because you work from home now, or you utilize the curbside pickup for their food/supplies. Whatever that “new normal” is with your pet(s), we’re scrapping about it this month!
My layout features my 3 girls literally social distancing outside. Isn’t that cute!?!? And you know I had to use PhotoPlay’s “The New Normal” collection! Washi tape is from Recollections; and the “Dogs are my favorite people” bubble sticker is Park Lane (Joann’s).
Hello everyone! Been a busy couple of weeks, but I’ve got TONS of furbaby pics!
The girls wanted to play with this large ball together. It was cute!
Miss Penny had a vet visit a couple of weeks ago and she did GREAT! She’s usually so nervous and we’ve tried tons of things. This round, on top of calming spray, calming ointment, calming collar and calming chews – she had CBD OIL and a Heavenly Hound Bar. It worked wonders! She was never upset or nervous. She was really calm. So very proud of her!
She did so well, she (and her sisters) got some carob ice cream and peanut butter dog biscuits. YUMMY!
All 3 passed out!
Mr. Jackson demanding some attention while scrapbooking.
Where’s Jackson?
Life is ruff!
Shelby loves her teddy bear!
Last weekend, I was woken up by this face:
The moment I got out of bed, she stole my spot!
Shelby wanted to join in on the fun and sit next to me while I scrap. LOL…but she couldn’t quite get comfortable.
Jazzy is quite happy in her daddy’s chair while he is at work.
Shelby can be a bit creepy, can’t she? LOL.
And last but not least, Jackson being a TOTAL HAM this morning after breakfast.
Good afternoon everyone! The furkids sure have been cute! Check them out!
I went to PetCo last week to get dog food and Shelby couldn’t help but check it out!
Penny was exhausted after chasing squirrels and opossums all night!
And while Penny takes care of the medium size rodents, Jackson takes care of the smaller ones. He had brought in a dead mouse Friday morning. He’s saying “I’m sorry mommy!”
He and Shelby are besties!
While Penny and Jasmine were sleeping, Shelby was playing quietly. Isn’t she sweet!
I slept in Saturday morning and woke up to Jazzy in our bed
The girls got a special treat on Saturday. Cheese icecream!
Guess who got to lick the container!
Sunday morning, we woke up to a dead bird in the living room. Of course, getting birds wears a kitty out.
And last but not least, Shelby posing with her bone.
