Good afternoon everyone! I did two more layouts showcasing my sweet kitty, Jackson. The pics were taken Jan 2017, so he’s about 6 months in them. ❤
Snooze’n: This layout is for ACOT’s Manufacturer Challenge where we are supposed to use up our stash. Collections or manufacturers you only have bits/pieces left. I chose Anna Griffin “Best in Show”. I have a few sheets of paper, 1 die cut and a few stickers. The clear title is by The Paper Studio and the pink ribbon is from Bazzill.
Leave Me Alone: I did this layout for ACOT’s Sketch with a Twist. I used the sketch Deanna provided, along with 2 flowers. I used Bazzill cardstock and papers/stickers from KaiserCraft, Reminisce and Karen Foster. Both flowers are from Prima.
These set of pics are so funny. Mr. Jackson was having some “cattitude”. He was pouting about something and flat out refused to even look at me. LOL!!
Good morning everyone! I have another layout to share with you, featuring Mr. Jackson.
When I saw these pics, the first thing that popped in my head was “Welcome to the Jungle” by Guns ‘N Roses. And I took that song title and just ran with it! Which is perfect, as it fits ACOT’s Music Challenge (get inspiration from a singer/songwriter).
I struggled a bit with the background at first, because of the shadows in the photos. But when I came across this glossy, black cardstock from DCWV, it seemed to work very well. The “green grass” is actually washi tape by Little B, and the punched out circles are DCWV too (The Pet Stack).
The alphas are Thickers and Bo Bunny, with the kitty stickers and word art from American Crafts (Remarks).
Good afternoon everyone! I’m here to share with you a layout I’ve been working on all week. And its the first one in 2 months, since I’ve been so busy. Felt great to get creative!
I’ve been using my Cricut quite a bit lately. From cards to decorations for various events, so I decided to try my hand at using a cut file to enhance my background. I found an interlocking heart cut file made for the Cameo. I was able to convert it to PNG and upload it to my Cricut so I could use it. Once I had it cut out, I backed some of the openings with scrap paper. A little tedious, but I sure do love the look!
With 3 cute photos of Jackson and some embellies (mostly word art stickers), here is the finished product:
Everything is from my stash:
pattern paper: American Crafts, Authentique, Bo Bunny, Basic Grey
stickers: 7 Paper, AC “Remarks”, ATD
This layout is for ACOT’s Movie Madness Challenge.
Good afternoon everyone! I managed to get 3 more layouts done during the festivities of the (inter)National Scrapbooking Day Crop A Cherry On Top put on 2 weeks ago. Challenges were due this past Saturday.
Nope Not Today
This layout is for Barb’s Black/White Photo Challenge, where we had to have our picture(s) in b/w (or sepia).
Miss Penny Lane was ignoring me so I felt the SS #Whatever collection was perfect. When she’s moody, she’s like a teenager! LOL
To brighten up the paper, I used gesso to prep my background, then layered Shimmerz Creameez (Ride the Tide & Boggie Boardin’ Blue)
This layout is for Kim’s ABC/123 Challenge.
Little Jackson getting frisky outside after a cool front. The wind was blowing leaves around. He was having so much fun. Dec. 2016
This is for Krystle’s Kit Challenge. We had to put together a kit with papers/embellishments to make a layout or card. I chose to make a kit with what I had on my table (Bella Blvd papers, washi tape, puffy stickers)
Good morning everyone! Last Saturday was (inter)National Scrapbooking Day. A Cherry On Top put on a very fun crop and challenges are still going on (due in just a few days!)
There’s alot I want to do, but so far, I’ve only done 3.
- Ready Set Go
This was for Laura’s Stash/Directions Challenge. We all had to follow the same set of instructions to put our layout together, using only our stash. Its fun to see everyone’s variation of the directions.
- Miss You
This was for Laura’s Scraplift with a Twist Challenge. We had to go to our “faves” folder in the Gallery and scraplift the very first layout we had ever saved. Mine went back about 10 years and I scraplifted a pet tribue page.
- Those Eyes
This was for Bonnie’s Pinterest Inspired Challenge. I had selected a layout I wanted so scraplift. I have so much inspiration pinned, I don’t think I’ll ever run out!
Good afternoon everyone! Last Thursday, I was nominated to participate in the Three Quotes, Three Days Challenge by 1Kindness2Day.
To participate, I should thank the nominator (Thank you so very much! I’m completely honored.), come up with three quotes – one a day for three consecutive days – and nominate three other bloggers each day to fulfil the same task.
The 3 bloggers I nominate today are as follows:
Here is my quote for today, Day 3:
Good afternoon everyone! Last week it was all about the babies (Jasmine and Shelby) and this week, its all about Mr. Jackson, with one photo of Miss Penny Lane!
Jackson loves the girls so much, he will sleep next to them.
Miss Penny wasn’t happy about the cooler weather nor the thunder last weekend.
Sunday, Mr. Jackson was being super adorable!
By Monday morning, he was perched on the fence, looking towards the neighbor’s backyard. LOL
On Monday, I ran errands and came home to THIS:
Yes, that’s a gecko and yes, its alive. LOL. It almost looks like he’s telling Jackson off! But I took care of it. Off it went back outside, unharmed.
Until next time, bark and meow on! 🙂

Good morning everyone! This will be a short post, as I was very busy last week and the weekend, so not a lot of pics of the furbabies. Actually, the babies stole the show! LOL!
For Easter, the girls got a large rope ring and they LOVE That thing! They are already playing tug of war with it
On Sunday, they were hogging the couch together!
It was a little cooler than usual Monday afternoon and Shelby wanted to play with the x-large tennis ball!
And last but not least, after playtime yesterday, they “tried” to share a doggie bed together. LOL. The key word is “tried”.
Until next time, bark on!
