Hello everyone! I normally don’t scrap during the week since work takes a lot of my time, but with yesterday a holiday, I was able to work all morning/afternoon and perform an upgrade in the later afternoon. Once complete, I literally ran to my scrap room. LOL.
I had started this two pager on Sunday and stopped to make dinner. It just needed a few bits and pieces. Really love how it came out too.
Shelby Approves the New Scrappy Bench: I got a new bench for the scrap room and Shelby immediately had to check it out. She approved!
Since the bench is a beige color and so is Shelby, I wanted to use BRIGHT happy colors. I used Bo Bunny “#ForeverYoung” collection. I just bought some super cute doggie stickers from Sticko that had some similar bright colors.
I also did the ACOT Becky Fleck sketch for the week. I used photos from a few years ago. Mr. Jeffrey going for a quick ride with his daddy. I used a mix of Basic Grey.
Hello everyone! I’ve started out the new year being able to scrap a layout or two on the weekends, including two pagers!
You’re flippin’ great! I used DCWV “Paw Prints” paper pad and Paper House Productions 3D stickers and Washi tape from The Paper Studio. I fussy cut all the sayings from pattern paper.
Under the Weather: Photo Play and Queen & Co papers; PhotoPlay stickers (“best friend”, doggie in cone of shame); KaiserCraft date tag, journal spot, phrase strip; Sticko tiny stickers; MME alphas and Freckled Fawn, Doodlebug and Queen & Co enamel dogs.
My journaling: Penny wasn’t feeling well one day and while she was laying on the couch, Shelby brought her a toy. It was Shelby’s favorite toy too. Her teddy bear. It was so sweet. Oct 31, 2020
Ghouls & Goblins: Echo Park, Scenic Route and CTMH pattern papers; Fancy Pants flair; PhotoPlay stickers and die cuts and Freckled Fawn enamel dots. The gold glitter washi tape is from stash.
My journaling: For Halloween, the girls got a Dia de los Muertos cake, Frosty Paws ice cream, and a couple of toys. They had fun! Oct 31, 2020
Happy Days: Simple Stories papers and chipboard; The Paper Studio washi tapes and the little banner stickers are from the Dollar Tree.
My Journaling: Penny had a super awesome 8th birthday party! I baked her doggie red velvet cake and bought some Birthday Cake ice cream. She loved it, as did her sisters. We spoiled her with treats – including chicken jerky, pupcorn, truffles and a peanut butter donut with maple bacon sprinkled on top. She also got a new collar. It has unicorns and rainbows on it. November 8, 2020
We Love Bacon: DCWV pattern papers; KaiserCraft alphas; Simple Stories word phrase stickers. Bacon buttons and washi tape is from my stash.
My Journaling: Penny received a peanut butter donut with maple frosting and bacon “sprinkles” for her birthday. Everyone enjoyed it. November 9, 2020
Good afternoon everyone! Been busy with work lately, haven’t had time to upload some of my creations, so lets get started!
A Breat of Fresh Air: Mr Jackson enjoying the first “cool” front of the season. Used PhotoPlay papers/stickers and Bella Blvd washi tape.
Silly Puppers: Jazzy had found a cicada in my husband’s boot and she dropped it the moment it started buzzing. Penny showed up and ate it. LOL!! Everything is Bella Blvd except the twine (Doodlebug), mini alphas and background paper (MME) and journal card (KaiserCraft).
Happy Fall: Used some old stash on this layout along with Freckled Fawn chipboard pieces and washi tape and Paper House Productions puffy stickers.
Live Like Someone Left the Gate Open: Most of the products used is from PhotoPlay with puffy stickers by Vicki Boutin
Catch Me If You Can: Papers, enamel dots and stickers are Echo Park; brads are WRMKs; doily and twine are Doodlebug and the alphas are Simple Stories.
Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing with you my example for my Pet Challenge I host each month over at A Cherry On Top. My idea for this challenge came from a sweet photo I took of Miss Penny a month ago.
This month’s challenge involves journaling. And lots of it. At least 5 sentences. And here is my layout:
My journaling is as follows:
Penny is one of the sweetest girls we have ever had. She’s goofy and quirky in her own way, but we love her so much. Rob and I joke that if she was human, she’d be our little drama queen. She gives stink eye when she is mad. she whines and moans when doesn’t get her way. She also isn’t a morning person and loves to sleep in. This one evening, she sat in front of us, moaning and groaning and wagging her tail when I asked “What is it Penny?” She did that for a few minutes, then left. She came back and did it again. That’s when I noticed the time. 9:15PM. It was past her bedtime. She wanted to be tucked in. I asked her “Do you want your blankie?”. Sure enough, she walked down the hallway and into our bedroom. She led me towards her bed and laid down, waiting for me to put her blanket on her. That’s all she wanted.
The products I used on this layout are Echo Park pattern papers, 7 Gypsies ruled paper, Eyelet Outlet washi tape, The Paper Studio glittered paw prints, Moxxie alphas in tan, Thickers in black, Simple Stories dog house sticker, KaiserCraft work art and doggie stickers. The button, twine, and corrugated paper are all from my stash.
TFL and Hope you can check out all the other challenges over ACOT.
Hello everyone! Last weekend I had my scrapbooking friends over. I managed to get 7 layouts done. All are more current photos – July thru Sept.
Birthday Kitty: Mr. Jackson celebrating his 4th birthday with kitty treats and a tuna and cheese kitty cupcake. I used quite a few products on this page including papers from Bazzill, DCWV, Jillibean Soup and CTMH; Mrs Grossman’s stickers and Thickers alphas.
You are officially on IGNORE: Photos are of Jackson giving me the stink eye during Hurrican Hanna in July. He was mad because I had shut the doggie door down and he was stuck in the house. He even pawed at the radar (smaller photo). I used PhotoPlay for this layout.
Love My Dog: My sweet Jazzy with a bone. That head tilt just melts your heart, doesn’t it?! I used Bazzill cardstock for the background; Doodlebug doily and washi tape with papers, ephemera and stickers from Bella Blvd.
Cutest Face: Another Jazzy layout. Just look at that face! Cut file is from Cricut (just search for ‘paw’), Tattered Angels mist and papers, stickers and chipboard from Bella Blvd.
So Proud of You: Photos are of Miss Penny off to her vet visit last month. We have had to be proactive vs reactive to help her feel safe and after giving her CBD Oil, Calming Chews, and a Heavenly Hounds Bar, she was cool as a cucumber! I was one proud momma!
For this layout, I used Eyelet Outlet Washi tape, Bo Bunny alphas and papers, stickers and chipboard from Bella Blvd.
Cat Scrap Fever: The title was coined by my husband and the pics are of Mr Jackson attacking some dog pattern paper. What had happened was was on that day, I was scrapping the pups and that piece of pattern paper fell and Jackson caught it and went to town. LOL. I just love his expressions. So instead of cutting off what he tore, I saved it and decided to use it with these photos.
The “puppy love” pattern paper is Simple Stories. I also used Echo Park alphas and Bella Blvd pattern papers and chipboard.
If I SITS, I FITS: These photos are of the Shelbster sitting in one of the chairs in my scrap room. LOL. She barely fits. The mini alphas are Bo Bunny while everything else is Bella Blvd.
Good morning everyone! When you hear “social distancing”, you think of the 6 feet apart rule during the pandemic. Well, you know what? Dogs are GREAT at social distancing, and for this month’s Pet Challenge at A Cherry On Top, the topic is Pets during the Pandemic. Whether it be your furbaby becomes your “new coworker” because you work from home now, or you utilize the curbside pickup for their food/supplies. Whatever that “new normal” is with your pet(s), we’re scrapping about it this month!
My layout features my 3 girls literally social distancing outside. Isn’t that cute!?!? And you know I had to use PhotoPlay’s “The New Normal” collection! Washi tape is from Recollections; and the “Dogs are my favorite people” bubble sticker is Park Lane (Joann’s).
Hello everyone! I only did a handful of layouts last month – wrapping up Thanksgiving 2018 photos and even starting 2019! I even “killed” a collection too! Bo Bunny “Beautifully Brisk”.
Grateful: The embellishments on this layout are not mine – they were part of a challenge over at A Cherry On Top. The hostess sent us a handful of small embellishments in an envelope and she wanted us to create as many projects as possible. I received 5 buttons, a felt flower, and 3 pieces of washi tape including a card with instructions to also use at least two elements from that card. I really love how things turned out.
Hello Autumn: This layout ended up coming out better than I expected. I wanted to use that gold leaf background and was going through all the different shades of brown cardstock when I came across the tinted peach vellum and wholla! There goes the rest of my layout – using enamel dots and ephemera.
Its based on the Becky Fleck Sketch #178 at A Cherry On Top:
Autumn Leaves: This layout also came together rather quickly with a Aha! Moment. LOL. That background paper is from Cosmo Cricket, circa 2007!!!! It goes so well the Bo Bunny, I couldn’t resist using it!
Cool Breezes and Autumn Leaves: Another simple layout, using a grid design and that left over piece of vellum from earlier. It was the perfect layer for the bold chipboard title and that large deer. I’ve been wanting to use both of those, but they never quite fit right. Until now.
Journaling reads: Journaling: I bought some cute toys at PetCo for 75% off. Hot dog, Cherry Pie, Onion Rings and Cotton Candy. I gave them to the girls on the 4th of the July and within minutes, they had that extra large hot dog’s insides all over the place. Boy, did they have fun! July 4, 2020
Good evening everyone! This month’s Pet Challenge is about scrapping what your furbaby LOVES so much that they probably couldn’t live with out it. I chose to scrap about Shelby and her love of the tennis ball.
Good afternoon everyone! A couple of weeks ago, I had a few of my scrappy friends over for our quarterly crop that got pushed back by 2 months. I was working on puppy layouts – BABY puppy layouts! Back when Shelby and Jasmine were only 4 – 5 months old! OMGoodness they were ADORABLE! Here they are!
Play Dirty: Used mostly PhotoPlay papers/stickers
Shelby: Used Authentique papers/stickers with Heidi Grace chipboard alphas (don’t those match the papers perfectly?!)
Friends: I used lots of scraps, and a mix of doggie papers with other papers. Pulled the purple from the photo.
The next ones use Simple Stories “Life is Ruff” collection.
Last but not least, one that uses a mix of 2 Bella Blvd collections. Shelby discovering a BUG!
