Our Dogs

I host the Pet Challenge each month at A Cherry On Top and this month’s theme is “Group Photo”.

Group usually means 3 or more, but in this case, I’ll say “more than one”. If you have multiple furbabies, this will probably be alot easier. At least one photo must be a group shot – 2 or more of your furbabies. But if you only have one, no worries. Do you have a photo of your children with the family dog? That counts. Do you have a photo of your DH holding 2 of your kittens? That counts too! And what if you do not have furbabies? A group of birds out on the lawn or some cattle as your drive by counts too.

Here is my example:

Our Dogs

A photo of Jeffrey, Ruby and Penny all together, August 2015. All the papers/stickers are from Authentique and the alphas are Bo Bunny.

Hope you can join us. A random winner will be selected to win a GC from ACOT!

TFL! 🙂

Puppy Layouts

Good afternoon everyone! Been a bit busy with work but I finally have some time to upload and share several layouts that I had done 2 weekends ago when I had my friends over for a crop! I managed to get 10 pages done (8 singles, 1 two-pager). And they are all about Jasmine and Shelby, when they were not even 3 months old!

They were all for A Cherry On Top Challenges. Alot of PhotoPlay and Authentique with some Doodlebug mixed in.

I’ll try to be back tomorrow with a few layouts I did for iNSD!

TFL! 🙂

Such a Pretty Girl

Good morning everyone! Another fabulous sketch by Kelly is up on the Sketch N Scrap blog!

Jan 15th Layout

I was debating on whether I was going to use a 4X6 photo and flip the sketch, or juse it as is. I made my decision when I came across this cute photo of Miss Penny Lane 2 years ago:

Jan 15th Layout by Brandy

I used alot of Authentique “Devoted” Line, fussy-cutting that floral cluster and adding enamel dots to the center. The bottom has one small strip of that doggie washi tape I’m challenging myself to use.

TFL and hope you can join us over at Sketch N Scrap!

A Penny Lane Weekend!

This past weekend, me and my scrappy friends were over at my house for the last crop of 2015. We originally scheduled it for August 28th/29th, but with all the struggles that Bear was having, I just had to post-pone it. Now with the passing of Bear, things are starting to calm down a bit, so we decided to get together one last time before the Holidays have us kicking and screaming! LOL

I managed to get 5 pages done, 1 is for Sketch-N-Scrap that goes live next month, so I can’t show it to ya’ll yet. But I can show you my other pages that I did finish. They are all for Penny Lane’s Puppy Book. And its almost done too!

First layout is for ACOT’s Pet Challenge. Sher always offers a sketch that’s optional to do. I usually use it because I love sketches! The challenge this month was to use paper with animals on it. Dogs, cats, birds, whatever you like. So I broke into Authentique’s new line – DEVOTED – and cut mine into strips, along with fussy-cutting the hearts.

My Sweet Little Girl

Look at my sweet little girl, snoozing away! Adorable! ❤

And here is the sketch Sher provided:

My next layout is for ACOT’s Take Your Pick Sketch Challenge. Stacy chooses two sketches – one is a one-page sketch, the other one is a two-pager. I always try to do both.

So here is the first one:

When I first saw this sketch, I was thinking about stitching or using bling or something for those circles. After playing around with paper/embellies, I opted to use a Crafter’s Workshop template that has “coffee rings” on them. Take a look:

I really do love the affect! And look at how little Penny was! These pics were just taken just shortly after we had gotten her! ❤

And here are my supplies for this layout:
cardstock: Bazzill
i love you paper: Teresa Collins
journal tag, pp: 7 Paper
stickers: Sticko
twine: Doodlebug
spoiled rotten metal tag: Flair Designs
sequins: MME
ink: Clearsnap
title: Freckled Fawn
Stencil: Crafter’s Workshop

Last but not least, I chose to do the 2-page sketch that Stacy offered:

There are so many possiblities with this one! I just had a hard time choosing what pics to use! Then I came across some super cute pics of Miss Penny trying out the Pool for the very first time back in Feb 2013. It was the cutest sequence of pics! She first investigated the pool. Then she put one paw in…followed by another..and another..until she was all in!

1 paw, 2 paws, 3 paws, pool

And that is where the title came from. 1 Paw, 2 paws, 3 paws, POOL! All the papers, die cuts, and 3D stickers are Anna Griffin’s “Best in Show” collection. I’ve had these pics for a while..and have always wanted to do a two pager…just didn’t find the right papers. Until now. 🙂

I did work on another layout, but just didn’t finish it in time. Hopefully throughout the week, I can work on it. Its like 90% done too. It needs a title and a sprinkle of embellies. Maybe enamel dots and some washi. We shall see!

As always, thanks for stopping by and looking! 🙂

Card: I’m sweet on you

Sketch-n-Scrap’s latest card sketch is perfect for a Valentine Day card, which I made using Authentique’s “Lovely” collection.

I'm sweet on you

And here’s the sketch (its card sketch #19)

I’m also submitting this card to two challenges over at ACOT. First, the Pinterest Inspired Challenge. Here is the prompt the hostess gave us:

I loved all the hearts – both the silver ones on the jar and the red ones on the table top. I also used the card for the One Word Challenge over at ACOT. The hostess chose “Sweet” and we can use it anywhere on our layout or card or craft. I used a die cut as my sentiment.

And yes, this card is for my hubby. 🙂
