My Boy

This next layout features my sweet boy, Mr Jeffrey! Just look at this face:

My Boy

The design of this layout is based on Let’s Get Sketchy Sketch, Week 2, March:

LGS

I was going to use triangles, but I saw all these word bubbles and thought I’d repeat that shape instead.

This layout is also based on 2 ACOT challenges. The first one is the Spelling Challenge. We are supposed to spell out the word SHAMROCK. Here is what I used:

S = sketch by Let’s Get Sketchy
H = Heidi Swapp “Hello”
A = Alphas (Bella Blvd)
M = MAMBI washi tag stickers
R = red ink
O = October Afternoon die cuts
C = cloud pattern paper
K = KaiserCraft Paw print stamp

The second one is for the Disney Challenge. Melissa is allowing non-Disney submissions and this month, its based on a color scheme. She gave us several choices, but I went with the golden yellow, light blue, red, and neutrals for my color scheme.

Sketches in Thyme Sketch #176 Reveal

Good morning all! Today is my turn to share with you Sketch #176 by Bev Code:

Team 2 December Sketch

And here is my take on it:

Team 2 - Brandy

Just look at Miss Penny, chewing away on a toy! I used mostly Bella Blvd’s “Rover” collection, and some old Cosmo Cricket mini alphas, and smudged brown mist by Inkadinkado. I fussy cut the bone paper and just added little embellies here and there from the Bella Blvd sticker sheet.

TFL and as always, make sure you stop by and check out the other reveals on Sketches in Thyme’s blog!

Sketches in Thyme #172

Today it’s my turn to showcase sketch #172.

Team 2 November Sketch

Lovely isn’t it?

When I saw this sketch, I had just gotten the new Bella Blvd “ROVER” collection. I knew I wanted to use those papers. Looking thru my photos, I stumbled upon Penny back in Feb 2013, snoozing away on the couch, cuddling with a toy.

Brandy - Team 2 - November

Can we say Adorable? Everything is Bella Blvd, except the scallopped circle (Bo bunny) and mist droplets (Tattered angels).

Hope you can hop over to Sketches in Thyme and play along!

TFL! 🙂
