Sunshine Bliss and Little Kitty Brother

Good afternoon everyone! Where did the year go?!?? I can’t believe its August already!

Today I’m sharing with you a couple of layouts I did last week.

Sunshine Bliss: I ordered Bo Bunny “Sunshine Bliss” JUST for Miss Penny photos. She loves napping and soaking up the sun and this collection is PERFECT for these kind of photos

My Little Kitty Brother: This layout uses some odds/ends from different manufacturers, but mostly Echo Park Cat/Dog collections. These pics were taken May 2015, about 2 weeks after we got Jasmine and Shelby. Look how little Shelby was! She was so sweet with her little kitty brother Jackson. They are still that close and sweet!

Our First Vet Visit

Good morning everyone! I have a super cute layout to share with you today. Its based on a sketch from Deanna, who hosts the Sketch w/ a Twist Challenge over at A Cherry On Top.

374392-490

I really love this sketch. The simple 4×4 pics/paper squares. The border. The huge title. Its awesome and one I’ll save for later!

I chose to scrap Jasmine & Shelby’s first vet visit, which occurred the day after we adopted them. I can’t believe how little they were!

Our First Vet Visit

I used bo bunny cardstock and pattern papers, and embellishments from various manufacturers:

“Save a Life” sticker: MAMBI
paw print stickers: Sticko
“Best Friend” word bubble sticker: Reminisce
“WOOF” sticker, dog die cut: The Paper Studio

Here’s a few close-ups

Journaling reads: We took Jasmine and Shelby to the vet the following day after we adopted them. They did so well, and were so brave. Shelby, though, clung to Rob’s neck for dear life. But Dr. Hoke checked them over and he said they were in good health! April 28, 2017

Bye Bye Turtle

Hello everyone! First time in a while I’m posting a layout. Its based on the new Becky Fleck Sketch Challenge over at A Cherry On Top, as well as a couple of other challenges there.

Bye Bye Turtle

I used mostly Bo Bunny “Head over Heels”, along with My Little Shoebox alphas. The pinks were perfect for these pics of Penny tearing up her pink turtle. I can’t believe this is just over 4 years ago. Time sure does fly!

Here is the sketch I used:

I used only black, white, pink and red for the Color & Shape Challenge, which was to use those colors at least 75% of your layout, along with a heart. I used several small chipboard hearts.

The Mood Board Challenge was also a great fit for this layout, as it had pink and red, along with hearts.

Thank You

Good morning everyone! Today I have a brand new card sketch designed by Heather Hall to share with you:

april-5th-card

I love this sketch! Its so versatile and I see myself using this sketch again!

Here is my take on it:

thank-you

I used Bo Bunny “Serenade” collection here. I fell in love with the “thank you” sentiment rub-on, and just went from there.

Make sure you check out the rest of the DT’s work on the Sketch N Scrap blog. Hope you can join us and play along.

And here is my take on it:

love-is-in-the-air

I used Bo Bunny “Love Letters”. I thought that sticker was perfect for this sketch. The rest of the card came together rather quickly.

Make sure you stop by the Sketch N Scrap blog to check out the rest of the creativity by the DT. Hope you can play along.

march-team-2

And here is my take on it:

me-and-my-best-friend

Its an old photo of me and Kandie. I used Echo Park “BARK” for the papers/stickers. A bo Bunny doily; Paper Studio dog brad; Jolee’s paw prints and a Sticko “WOOF!” sticker.

Make sure you stop by the Sketches in Thyme blog to check out the other sketches. You have until the end of the month to play along!

The earth laughs in flowers

Good morning everyone! Today I’m sharing with you a wonderful card sketch designed by Heather Hall:

march-5th-card

Its super cute and LOVE those flowers! So here is what I came up with:

the-earth-laughs-in-flowers

Everything is Bo Bunny. Very very very OLD Bo Bunny. Like Vicki B (sentiment sticker and cream colored pattern paper). And Mango Luau (the flowers that were fussy cut from pattern paper and the striped pattern paper). And lets not forget Flower Child (lime green pattern paper). LIke I said…OLD Bo Bunny. But it works! LOL

So head over to Sketch N Scrap blog to check out the latest card sketch and what the fabulous DT came up with! Hope you can join us!

Crafting is the BEST Medicine!

Good morning everyone! Today I will be sharing with you the newest card sketch by Lisa Hidy at Sketch N Scrap.

february-20th-card

It has so many possibilities! And here’s my take on it:

crafting-is-the-best-medicine

I used Bo Bunny “Pincushion” collection and moved the hearts over to the other corner. I turned the longer, skinnier piece into a banner and because the banner has “faux stitching” on it, I did the same around the light black cardstock.

Hope you can play along with us over at Sketch N Scrap! You have until the end of the month to submit your card. Make sure you check out the rest of the DT’s awesome work.

Anniversary Tradition

Good morning all! Today’s 1st sketch of the month was designed by the very talented Heather Hall!

october-1st-layout

This sketch has SOOOO many possibilities! And here is my take on it:

anniversary-tradition

The basic design is the same, but my scallops are larger, and I brought the photo and title down a bit more. Everything is Bo Bunny “Serenity”. Every year, since 2010, my husband and I have gone out for sushi for our Anniversary Dinner. This collection was perfect as its an asian-theme collection and check out those chipboard chopsticks!

Make sure you stop by the Sketch N Scrap Blog and check out the rest of the amazing DT layouts.
