Good morning everyone! Today I have a card sketch to share with you, designed by Lisa Hidy at Sketch N Scrap!
Isn’t it cute? I love this sketch and see using it for more cards to come!
And here is my take on it:
I have a bunch of leftover MME die cuts from both boy and girl birthday kits from years ago. I saw this “make a wish” and I had to use it! I popped it up with foam adhesive and added Freckled Fawn enamel dots, moving them up a bit higher than what the sketch shows.
Make sure you stop by the Sketch N Scrap blog to check out the rest of the amazing DT’s work and play along with us!
Sketch-n-Scrap has an AWESOME card sketch JUST for World Card Making Day!
Here is my take on it:
I used scraps I had left over from a Kill a Kit Challenge I did back in July. Stars are by Studio Calico, corrugated paper is The Paper Studio and die cut/papers/alphas are all Fancy Pants!
Hope you join in on the fun we’re having over at Sketch-N-Scrap!
The first card sketch for August at Sketch-n-Scrap is so versatile. Kelly sure did outdo herself with the design.
Here is my take on it:
I know. It doesn’t look anything like the sketch. But I came across this cute little chipboard house from an older Bo Bunny collection (Alora) and I just knew I had to use it! Pair the card with the colors from the house, add a doily, some chipboard hearts and a sentiment, and wholla! You’ve got yourself a super cute card!
Hope ya head over to Sketch-N-Scrap and join in on the fun!
Sketch-n-Scrap’s latest card sketch is perfect for a Valentine Day card, which I made using Authentique’s “Lovely” collection.
And here’s the sketch (its card sketch #19)
I’m also submitting this card to two challenges over at ACOT. First, the Pinterest Inspired Challenge. Here is the prompt the hostess gave us:
I loved all the hearts – both the silver ones on the jar and the red ones on the table top. I also used the card for the One Word Challenge over at ACOT. The hostess chose “Sweet” and we can use it anywhere on our layout or card or craft. I used a die cut as my sentiment.
And yes, this card is for my hubby. 🙂
I have gotten on a “use up my Basic Grey stash” kick lately and I have actually started polishing off some collections. Like with this card I made for my parents’ Anniversary next month. I used up what I had left from the “Lucille” collection (the papers), and used stickers from the Capella and Curio collections. The little veneer pieces are from Studio Calico.
It is based on Sketch-N-Scrap’s Card Sketch #14
