Nuts About Sketches newest sketch was so fun to work with. The smaller photos, along with circles – its my new fave style now!
I made the larger circle a bit bigger on my layout, and only using one circle photo, and fussy-cutting a word bubble for the smaller one. I fussy-cut quite a few more word bubbles and placed them strategically. I was thinking about bordering with paper, but instead, went with washi, and decided to layer, layer, layer!
For other embellishments, I went with pearls and enamels.
I had so much fun with Nuts About Sketches sketch #325 as it is so versatile and allows the scrapper to go any which way!
First, here is the awesome sketch. Usually I post my layout first, but you guys have got to see the sketch I got to work with!
This sketch is all about the hexagons. Its quite trendy right now, but unfortunetly, I don’t have hexagon template or die cut or punch. So…with that said, I went with circles!
This little guy is named Little Bit, and he belongs to my mother. He is “her baby” and just LOVES being wrapped up in this baby blanket. Here are some close-ups:
The papers are all Bo Bunny, including the small chipboard stars. The die cuts and stickers are by Simple Stories and the alphas are Webster’s Pages.
Good afternoon! The newest sketch over at Nuts About Sketches uses an 8X10 photo and hexagons. Hexagons are very trendy right now, but with the paper that I chose to use, I ended up going with circles.
Here is my layout, featuring my parents and grandfather with my brother and sister in law after their wedding ceremony in 2010.
And here is the sketch:
I used Bo Bunny “Ad Lib” papers. The circles are actually from one of the sheets of pattern paper. I just used my circle cutter to cut out the circles (all are 1″). Here are some close ups:
