I’m really enjoying using gesso on my layouts, and adding layers. A Cherry On Top has a “What’s Old is New Again” challenge and the hostess created it as a “recipe”.

This is what I picked/had to use:

werewolf = mostly brown
more than 1 pumpkin = pp only
pumpkins carved = distressing
seeds roasted = 2 or more photos
guts tossed = ribbon
going to an adult party = lots of embellishments

With those items in mind, this is what I came up with:

I used the gesso to tone down that houndstooth pattern paper and I really love the effect.

By the way, those pictures are of Little Bit – my parents’ little doggie. Isn’t he cute?
