One in a Million

My family is definetly “One in a Million”. And this layout features a photo of my mom with her li’l sister, taken during Thanksgiving last year.

One in a Million

I submitted this layout for the ACOT “My Mom” Challenge. I used lots of Bo Bunny “Isabella” collection – stickers and papers, which one sticker sheet is from my original April Use It or Lose It challenge. I also used both the MME wooden brads and the Basic Grey pink brads for this layout.

The doilies are from Doodlebug. The black hearts are glitter paste by Bo Bunny, using a heart stencil from Heidi Swapp.

Sketch N Scrap Throwback Thursday #5

Good morning and welcome to Sketch N Scrap‘s 5th and final Throwback Thursday sketch! I volunteered as a hostess for this one and I selected Sketch #39 by Kelly. It premiered back in August 2013:

March 31st - Brandy as Hostess

I chose it because it had the “Rule of Three”. Three areas of where your eyes would tend to wonder, with circles! So here is my take on it:

March 31st Layout

I used all Authentique “Devoted” Collection, Doodlebug Doilies and Freckled Fawn enamel dots. Here are some close-ups:

Make sure you stop by Sketch N Scrap to check out the rest of the DT’s work. Hope you can play along with us too!

As always, TFL! 🙂

Just like Sissy using NAS #349

When we first got Penny in November 2012, she was pretty shy around all the other doggies. But by the beginning of 2013, she latched onto Ruby Mae and really looked up to her. When I saw Nuts About Sketches #349 sketch, I knew these pics of Penny and Ruby together would be PERFECT for it!

349 - Brandy

As you can tell, I pretty much stuck to the sketch pretty well. I used Doodlebug Doilies for the circles and washi tape by Queen & Co.

The “woof” sticker is Mrs. Grossmans, while the paper clip and doggie button is from my stash.

I cut my title out with my Cricut, using Bazzill cardstock.

The “HI” chipboard piece is from Basic Grey and the black bling and purple/black brad is all from stash as well.

This was a very fun sketch to work with and hope you decided to try it out too!
