Cute & Adorable

Cute and Adorable – that’s how I’d describe my 2 girls Shelby and Jasmine. These two layouts were done in all Doodlebug, and the pics were taken by a very talented photographer friend. I promise you you’ll squeal with such joy and excitement when you see the pics!

Aren’t those pics adorable or what? I can’t believe they were THAT little JUST a year and a half ago!

Who let the dogs out?

Good afternoon everyone. I finally found some time to scrap this past Sunday afternoon.

The pics were taken by a very talented friend of mine. I think we only had Shelby and Jasmine less than one week! Look how little they were!

Who let the dogs out

I used a variety of supplies:
pink background paper, pink chipboard heart: Bo Bunny
turquoise pattern paper, enamel dots, sun sticker, bone paper clip, dog bone die cuts: Doodlebug
yellow pattern paper, purple photo mats, alphas: Basic Grey
corner shapes: Bella Blvd
“fetch” stickers: from stash

This layout is for my Pet Challenge over at A Cherry On Top. It goes thru until Jan 12, 2019. So you have plenty of time to join us!

Puppy Layouts

Good afternoon everyone! Been a bit busy with work but I finally have some time to upload and share several layouts that I had done 2 weekends ago when I had my friends over for a crop! I managed to get 10 pages done (8 singles, 1 two-pager). And they are all about Jasmine and Shelby, when they were not even 3 months old!

They were all for A Cherry On Top Challenges. Alot of PhotoPlay and Authentique with some Doodlebug mixed in.

I’ll try to be back tomorrow with a few layouts I did for iNSD!

No bones about it….

I Love You. Mr. Jefffrey, that is!

There's no bones about it...

Jeffrey loved his bones and loved being outside more. He also loved to hoard them, as you can see in the pictures. LOL…he was such a cute little guy.

I used mostly Doodlebug ‘Puppy Love’ collection, with alphas from Basic Grey and WRMKs Sew Easy Circle.

I used tags to fulfull the February “My Mood” challenge at ACOT (must use at least 3 tags and they must be different sizes).  This layout is an example for my March Pet challenge too. Scrap your pet outdoors and add a bit of green to your layout.

Its also based on the Becky Fleck Sketch challenge at ACOT, running until Feb 28th.

I rotated counter-clockwise to better suit my pics and just playing around with the layers.

It was meant to be

Good morning everyone! I’m up on the Sketches in Thyme blog today, sharing with you Sketch #284, designed by the very talented Shawn Lahr:

Check out all those fun circles! And here is my take on it:

When I first saw this sketch, I knew EXACTLY which photo I was going to use. This is the first photo I took of sweet Jasmine and Shelby when we were “getting to know them” at the shelter. I just love how little Jasmine is looking at the camera, while little Shelby is chewing on her leash.

So I used my circle cutter to cut the photo into a circle and from there, I was torn by which products. However, once I chose doilies to use as my photo mat (red is Doodlebug; white is Bo Bunny), I went straight for the Doodlebug “Puppy Love”.

I chose the title because at first, both of these little girls had pending adoptions. So while we waited to see if we were going to adopt these two cutie pies, we were already falling in love. Luckily, they both fell thru and they were OURS! ❤ ❤ It was MEANT to be! ❤ ❤

I chose to write my journaling on the 2 doily halves on opposite sides of my layout. The little sprinkles are a mix of enamel dots/shapes, paw print/dog bone stickers – all from Doodlebug.

Make sure you head over to Sketches in Thyme’s blog and check out this awesome sketch. Hope you can play along this month!

Good Dog!

Good morning everyone! Can you believe its June already? The year is just FLYING by!

Today I have the latest Sketch N Scrap sketch to share with you. #130 designed by Lisa:

And here’s my take on it:

My sweet happy boy! Just look at that smile! I used all Doodlebug “Puppy Love” products on this one. I just love the bright colors paired with his black fur.

Hop on over to Sketch N Scrap’s blog to see the rest of the DT’s awesome take on this sketch and hope you can play along!

Check out those layers!

And here’s my take on it:

good-times

I used all Doodlebug “Puppy Love” papers and embellies and washi tape. The pictures are of my hubby trying to get his mother’s dog Peanut to sit for treats. This was a few years back – June 2012.

Hope you can join us and play along this month.

Can you see me?

Good morning everyone! Today I have the newest sketch to share with you from Sketch N Scrap, designed by Lisa Hidy:

Its so cute isn’t it?

And here is my take on it:

Can you see Mr. Jeffrey? He’s smack dab in the middle of both of those photos. He was being sooo cute that day (well, he’s cute everyday!). Other than the mini alphas (My Little Shoebox), everything is Doodlebug “Puppy Love” collection.

Check out the rest of the Sketch N Scrap DT work on this fabulous sketch. Make sure you come and play – layouts due April 30th!

Sleep tight, sweet little Jackson

Good evening everyone! Its been raining off and on all day, so what’s a girl to do? Stay inside and scrap! And this layout uses the newest sketch from Let’s Get Sketchy:

lgs-3-1

I LOVED the design on this one. I used washi tapes for the diagnol part, and Tattered Angels mist and Shimmerz watercolors for the mixed media part.

I used Doodlebug “Kitten Smitten” collection – papers, die cuts, washi tapes and stickers.

The alphas are a quite the mixture. I used Cosmo Cricket (yellow alphas), My Little Shoebox (pink alphas), Basic Grey (grey alphas) and Amy Tangerine (black thickers). I chose a long title for this layout to be used for ACOT’s Use Your Stash Challenge, which was to use 2 or more different alphas, and to dig deep in your stash.
