Spookytown Cemetary

I’m way behind on Halloween layouts. Like 6 years behind. LOL. So here is graveyard cake I made for a friend’s Halloween Party back in 2010, using the latest sketch from Let’s Get Sketchy:

Spookytown Cemetary

Team A Week 1

I rotated the sketch, and used wide washi tape for the diagnol pieces. I just used layers and lots of little stickers from Echo Park’s “Chillingsworth Manor” to embellish my layout.

I used some spackling paste and a Studio Calico stencil to make the little dots.

Our MVP

This next layout is for the Title Challenge again over at ACOT. This time I went back and used August’s Challenge, which was to use a sports title and some stars. I chose the title “Our MVP” to go with this adorable photo of my hubby holding our little guy Mr Jeffrey. Picture was taken a few years ago, but I still love it!

Our MVP

Everything is from Echo Park’s “Bark” collection with the exception of the stars, which happen to be Freckled Fawn.

The journaling card is based on Sketches In Thyme Project Life sketch #11:

And here’s what I came up:

Cold Nose, Warm Heart using Sketches in Thyme Sketch

Good morning! Sketches in Thyme‘s newest sketch is very versatile. I love it!

Team 2

And here is my take on it:

Team 2 Layout by Brandy

This little doggie is my parents’ dog Little Bit. He looks so cute in his little “pajamas” that I bought him a few years ago.

My list of products are as follows:
doggie washi tape, doggie brads: Eyelet Outlet
red/white washi tape: Bella Blvd
glitter brads: Bo Bunny
pattern papers, title sticker, circle sticker: Echo Park
word art stickers: 7 Paper

I challenged myself to use that doggie washi tape and the glitter brads from my “Use It or Lose It” post from January 1st.

TFL and as always, hope you can join us over at Sketches in Thyme!

Trying Some Texas Taffy

Its no lie – I love to spoil my doggies! And that means new and different treats and toys. A couple of years ago, we found some beef jerky treats from Merrick called Texas Taffy. They all loved them!

Trying Some Texas Taffy

This two pager is based on the 2 page sketch that Anne-Marie posted for her 2nd Guest Designer Challenge over at ACOT:

I combined this challenge with Donna’s 3 in a Row Challenge. I went diagnol – 2 or more pictures, FREE (ribbon), and cardstock. My journal card is based on a Sketches in Thyme Project Life sketch:

Sketch #2

I flipped the sketch upside down and decorated it with veneer arrows, hearts and a dog bone sticker.

With the exception of the ribbon (Recollections) and veneer arrows (Studio Calico), all of my products are from the BARK Collection from Echo Park.

Moments using NAS #356

Nuts About Sketches newest layout is a two pager, and I used both sides this time to help me scrap one of my dearest friends’ 30th Surprise Birthday Party!

356 - Due 2-8-15

356 - Brandy

As you can see, I stuck with the sketch pretty well, including the 7X5 photo on the 1st page with the banner; but instead of 3 smaller photos on top right side – I just used 4 6X4’s.

DSCN5708

I fussy cut the banner by using a sticker banner from Carta Bella, putting it on the orange side of Echo Park sticker paper, and then fussy cutting it and flipping it over so I can use the lighter blue side of the banner, to better suit my needs. Alphas are Echo Park too, with brads from WRMKs.

DSCN5707

Tag is from my stash, and the cute arrow with the brad is also by Echo Park. Washi is Bella Blvd:

The Echo Park collection I used is “That’s My Boy” – leftovers from my step son’s album. But the sticker at the bottom – “Clearly up to No Good” just says it all! The orange chevron brad with the 2 smaller yellow ones are also Echo Park; with the veneer stars by Studio Calico.

Layout: This is what CUTE looks like

I’m really enjoying scrapping Penny’s puppy pictures and this next layout is about just that!

Here is my little sweet girl, after we had her for only a week!

This is what CUTE looks like

I used Sketch-N-Scrap’s sketch #64:

Sketch #64

I really loved the design of this sketch, from the placement of photos to the tags/embellies.

I also submitted this layout to ACOT’s Manufacturer Challenge. The hostess chose the letter “E” this month and my first thought – Echo Park! I have bought the EP Woof! collection so many times, I am practically hoarding it!

I also used some cute veneer doggies from Studio Calico, washi tape from Queen & Co and alphas from both Simple Stories and Basic Grey.

You Rock! with Nuts About Sketches #323

Nuts About Sketches sketch #323 was really fun to work with. With the right photo and supplies, it came quite easily!

Here is my step-son in 2006 – his 6th grade school photo:

323 - Brandy

And here’s the sketch:

323 - Due 6-22-14

As you can see, I chose to tear my pattern paper (Echo Park), and ink it and I used Little B’s thin washi tape for my border. With a few cork arrows by Fancy Pants, layout was done and it kept the photo the star!

Pumpkin Carving using Nuts About Sketches #318

Nuts About Sketch’s latest sketch is amazing! I was debating on whether I wanted to use it as is, but as I was searching for pics, I decided to rotate it to better suite my needs.

Here is my hubby carving a pumpkin in 2010.

318 - Brandy

And here is the sketch:

318 - Due 5-18-14

This sketch was so fun to use and I just loved the little circle photos. Here is a closer look of some details that my hubby was carving out.

DSCN4124

All of my papers are Echo Park “Chillingsworth Manor”. The little pumpkin carving stickers are by Sticko and the large “31” circle sticker is by MME.

Thanks for looking! πŸ™‚
