Spookytown Cemetary

I’m way behind on Halloween layouts. Like 6 years behind. LOL. So here is graveyard cake I made for a friend’s Halloween Party back in 2010, using the latest sketch from Let’s Get Sketchy:

Spookytown Cemetary

Team A Week 1

I rotated the sketch, and used wide washi tape for the diagnol pieces. I just used layers and lots of little stickers from Echo Park’s “Chillingsworth Manor” to embellish my layout.

I used some spackling paste and a Studio Calico stencil to make the little dots.

Pumpkin Carving using Nuts About Sketches #318

Nuts About Sketch’s latest sketch is amazing! I was debating on whether I wanted to use it as is, but as I was searching for pics, I decided to rotate it to better suite my needs.

Here is my hubby carving a pumpkin in 2010.

And here is the sketch:

This sketch was so fun to use and I just loved the little circle photos. Here is a closer look of some details that my hubby was carving out.

All of my papers are Echo Park “Chillingsworth Manor”. The little pumpkin carving stickers are by Sticko and the large “31” circle sticker is by MME.

Layout: Just The Girls

Sketch-N-Scrap has another amazing sketch this month and paired with My Mind’s Eye “Happy Haunting” collection, finally got some Halloween pics from 2008 scrapped!

Here’s the sketch – #43:

And here’s my layout:

Just the Girls

I also combined this layout with a challenge over at ACOT. The Guest Designer has a “Witches Brew” recipe and these are the items I picked (and what they mean):

Have or go to a Halloween Party = pattern paper/cardstock
Scavenger Hunt = 2 pics
Pumpkin = use orange
Witch = brads
Frankenstein = use mist
Zombie = use a b/w photo

Layout: Hippie Chick – Stardust

Sketchabilities has another GREAT sketch out and again, I had to try my hand at using gesso, misting, inking – and I added paint to the layout too!

Hippie Chick - Stardust

This photo is of my BFF dressed up as a Hippie for Halloween. With such a fun photo, it was easy to have fun with the layout, too!

Here’s the fun sketch – #100

Most of my products are Webster’s Pages (ACOT Manufacturer Challenge) – papers, transparencies, journaling tags, resin embellishments, ribbon, alphas, and feathered flower.

Layout: Happy Halloween

A couple of weeks ago, I bought My Mind’s Eye “Happy Haunting” collection. I’m usually quite picky when it comes to holiday-themed scrapbooking papers/embellishments, but when I saw this collection, I knew I had to have it! The papers are amazing, and the embellishments are unique and fun.

Here’s my first layout I used with the MME’s collection. Its a photo of me, my husband and our friends back in 2008.

Happy Halloween - 2008

I just LOVE the glittered paper and elments. Very very fun!

Layout is based on a sketch over at ScrapbookSteals.com – mid-week mojo challenge #3

Citrine Sketch 3

And, over at ACOT, the Supply List challenge for this month is use any 5 items out of a pre-determined list. I chose to use something orange; a glittered element; ribbon; a Halloween element; and the date.

This layout is also for my mom’s album I am working on for her.

Thanks for stopping by!
