Good morning everyone! Sketch N Scrap has a brand new card sketch, designed by the very talented Heather Hall.
And here is my take on it:
Instead of Halloween, I made a “fall” card, using pumpkins/leaves and papers all by PhotoPlay (Falling Leaves collection).
I added the banner to go with the ACOT Mood Board Challenge.

Good morning everyone! Today I have a card sketch designed by the very talented Mandy Reedyk!
And here is what I came up with:
I used PhotoPlays “Falling Leaves” collection. I LOVE the rich colors of yellows, browns, reds and oranges. The die cut embossed leaves are from SEI and enamel dots are by Freckled Fawn.
I’m submitting this card for ACOT’s September Card Challenge (its due tomorrow!). I had to use the colors I mentioned above as well as at least one distressed leaf WITH one other distressed method of my choice. The embossed leaves were perfect and I just had to INK everything!

Hello all! Today is the 2nd Thursday of October and that means TWISTBACK! We are using sketch #45 by Kelly Holifield and we must use a FALL theme. Now, with me living in south Texas, we really don’t have a “fall” per-say, but my family is all about spending time with each other on Thanksgiving. And luckily, last Thanksgiving, was a bit on the chilly side, so we built a fire. And of course, took pictures. 🙂
I chose to use the BRAND NEW company PhotoPlay’s “Autumn Day” collection. Usually I don’t buy brand new stuff from brand new companies, but I just love this collection! Just look at those colors. And those papers. I added mist from Tattered Angels and Inkadinkao, along with enamel dots from Freckled Fawn and Doodlebug.
And here’s the sketch:
As you can see, I opted to use one less photo. I had more photos, but they really didn’t look right with the other three. I still think the layout works.
