A few layouts

Good morning everyone. This weekend was quite rainy, so I stayed in yesterday and did some scrappin’. Used up some old stash too! 😉

I’m on a short leash: Cardstock is Bazzill, pattern paper is DCWV

Finding the perfect bone: Alphas are My Little Shoebox and pattern papers/stickers are Echo Park “BARK” collection

Friends Furever: The ribbons are from Oriental Trading, Bazzill, and Offray and the stickers are all from stash. I got the idea from a process video by Jen Schow. She has a complete series of “Use it or Lose it” and I only watched a couple of videos but now I’m hooked. She has one video dedicated to ribbon that I highly suggest you watch.

Sketches in Thyme Sketch #188 Reveal

Good morning! Today I’m showing off Shawn Lahr’s fabulous sketch!

March Team 2

I chose to use 2 4 X 3.5 photos in place of the large one, then used a Teresa Collins cork frame in place of the smaller photo.

March 9the Reveal - Brandy

The journaling reads:
Whenever Rob wore this brown shirt while holding Bella, we’d call them twins!!

Instead of a banner, I used ribbon from Webster’s Pages. The brown pattern papers are from KaiserCraft, and the fuschia papers are from MME Lush 2 collection.

The ribbon is being “held up” by 2 doggie brads from Eyelet Outlet, which is the same brand of the washi tape.

I backed the cork frame with the MME pattern paper, and stamped a large paw print in the center. The alphas are from Basic Grey, as well as the small brown flower. Those items are all from my Use It or Lose It post from earlier in the month.

Make sure you stop by Sketches in Thyme and check out the other sketches this month. Hope you can play along with us.

Cut files are very popular in the scrappy world and backing all or part of a cut file with pattern paper is even MORE popular! With that said, Sara’s Use Your Stash challenge is just that!

I chose to use my Cricut and cut several paw print borders from the Paper Pups cartridge. I backed each paw print using old kitty collections – Bo Bunny and TPC Studio.

This layout is also being submitted to ACOT’s Spelling Challenge. Sandi chose the word ROMANCE:

R = Ribbon (TPC Studio)
O = Orange background paper (from stash)
M = Mist (black drops, Tattered Angels)
A = Alphas (Bo Bunny)
N = Numbers (My Little Shoebox)
C = Chipboard (Kitty – Bo Bunny; Circle tag – TPC Studio)
E = Enamel Dots (white/black – Freckled Fawn)

The design for this layout is based on Let’s Get Sketchy, February Week 2 sketch, by the very talented Bev Code:
