The road to my heart….

This next layout has been in the making for the past month or so. This particular doggie embellishment from Anna Griffin was perfect for March/April’s Graphic Design Challenge, but I ran out of time with being so busy unpacking and working and settling into our new home. The challenge was to use something on your layout (in the photo(s), or an embellishment/element, etc) that is in a color that normally that item wouldn’t be. But luckily, Kim hostesses a Rewind Challenge, allowing us to go back to the previous month and do a challenge that we were wanting to do.

Here’s a closer look at that dog embellie:

LOL! Dogs aren’t pink with pink polka dots!

The design for this layout came from Sketches in Thyme Sketch #148

may 15

I had alot of fun with this sketch – the splatters, the large pennats, the washi. Its a great sketch!

My products used are as follows:
Pattern Paper, title, sticker: Anna Griffin
pink washi tape: Love My tapes
Love you heart, star, word bubble, heart arrow: MAMBI
White mist: Studio Calico
twine: The Twinery
Camera washi tape: The Paper Studio
tag, pearls: from stash

TFL! 🙂

Photo Love using Sketches in Thyme Week 1 (April)

One good thing about not being able to do certain ACOT challenges in the time frame given is that you can always do the Rewind Challenge and go back to previous month and do as many as you want.

My next layout is based on the Guest Designer’s 1st Challenge – use one photo; and the title must be “Photo Love”.

Photo Love

I used embellishments and papers by Teresa Collins “Nine & Co.”, with mist from Tattered Angels, alphas by Basic Grey, and butterflies are from Jillibean Soup.

Layout is based on a gorgeous sketch at Sketches in Thyme (Week 1 – April).
