Treasure This

My pups are always doing silly things, and I try my best to capture those moments. This next layout features Ruby Mae being goofy with a blanket last year.

Treasure This

I used Teresa Collins “You’re My Happy” collection, along with 2 different Tattered Angels mists, using the packaging technique for my background.

The design is based on Let’s Get Sketchy Week 2, May sketch:

12718393_869602696481496_5103222694175829712_n

I stayed true to the sketch, adding the corner piece to give it some interest. Really love how this turned out!

I chose Teresa Collins for the May Manufacturer Challenge at ACOT – to use the letter “T” and for bonus, do mixed media. You knew I had to do the bonus right!?!?! 😉

Sketches in Thyme Sketch #188 Reveal

Good morning! Today I’m showing off Shawn Lahr’s fabulous sketch!

March Team 2

I chose to use 2 4 X 3.5 photos in place of the large one, then used a Teresa Collins cork frame in place of the smaller photo.

March 9the Reveal - Brandy

The journaling reads:
Whenever Rob wore this brown shirt while holding Bella, we’d call them twins!!

Instead of a banner, I used ribbon from Webster’s Pages. The brown pattern papers are from KaiserCraft, and the fuschia papers are from MME Lush 2 collection.

The ribbon is being “held up” by 2 doggie brads from Eyelet Outlet, which is the same brand of the washi tape.

I backed the cork frame with the MME pattern paper, and stamped a large paw print in the center. The alphas are from Basic Grey, as well as the small brown flower. Those items are all from my Use It or Lose It post from earlier in the month.

Make sure you stop by Sketches in Thyme and check out the other sketches this month. Hope you can play along with us.

Love

This next layout concludes my New Home Owners album. I’ve been scrapping the pics since April so I’m very excited to finish it!

Love (3)

I used a mixture of Teresa Collins collections – “Nine & Co”, “You are my Happy” and “Life Emporium”.

Its based on Week 4 at Let’s Get Sketchy:

11659487_745628372212263_7645564058588900915_n

My papers are smaller, much smaller, but I still have tons of layers, as well as the chevrons. I moved my title.

The elephants are fussy cut from pattern paper, and they are for ACOT’s Guest Designer Challenge #4 – RANDOM. Collections now a days have items that just don’t go with anything..but they match your papers and usually just fun!

Us

Another layout of me and my hubby during our New Home Owner’s Photo Shoot. I started this last Saturday afternoon, but didn’t finish it until now. I had all the layers cut/inked. I just had to glue it all down, add a title, embellishments.

Us

Its based on Sketches in Thyme Sketch #152

june 15

I pretty much stuck to the sketch with the layers, tag and title placement. I swapped out the 3 photos to use just one larger one, and paired it with a 3×4 card. The cluster of embellies got substituted for one camera and 3 arrows.

This layout is also for ACOT’s What’s On Tv? Challenge. The hostess, Joannie, chose “Mr & Mrs Smith” as the TV Show, and the challenge was that at least one photo had to have a married couple. I think this layout covers that. 🙂

My list of items include:
pattern papers, 3×4 card, brad: Teresa Collins
title: Amy Tangerine
veneer arrows: Studio Calico
veneer camera: Prima
twine: The Twinery

Priceless

My last layout from the crop is based on a sketch at Let’s Get Sketchy. It uses 2 photos, but I used one and replaced the other one for a tag:

Priceless

And here is the sketch:

Its also for ACOT’s Title Challenge. To use the word “Priceless” as your title and include wood veneers. Mine are the arrows. Which I colored and smudged in some black gelatos:

Never Be Afraid to Give Up The Good to Go for the GREAT

This next layout, I went a little crazy on the layers. But I’m really knocking out my stash of flowers, brads, and bling!

Never be afraid to give up the good for the great

The little envelope has some journaling in it. Its actually a list of things I love about my hubby. 🙂 That part of this layout was inspired by ACOT’s GD Challenge #4. Here is a close-up of that:

And other close-ups:

vneer heart: Studio Calico

Lovely

I got majority of this next layout done on Friday night, but by 2am, I was just running out of steam. So after having coffee and breakfast, this layout came together quite nicely Saturday morning.

Lovely

Its for ACOT’s 3 in a Row challenge, which I chose the center column (5 or more hearts, stitching, and a date).

Its also based on Becky Fleck Sketch #96, also being hosted by ACOT:

BF

I rotated it 90 degrees clockwise to better suit my needs. I used just one photo instead of 2 smaller ones.

Here are some close-ups:

My products are as follows:
brads, stickers, pp, chipboard buttons, cork heart, tag: Teresa Collins

I Love The Way You Love Me

I had a wonderful weekend scrapping with my friends. Our Summer Crop was this past Friday and Saturday at my house. Great food, awesome convo, great time with friends. I managed to do 4 layouts and get started on another one. So each day this week, I’ll share with you one of the layouts.

The first one I did was for ACOT’s Music Challenge. Barb wanted us to select a song that makes us emotional. It could be happiness, sadness, excitement, etc. Since I’m still working on my New Home Owner Pictures, I chose the song “I Love The Way You Love Me” by John Michael Montgomery. Its my husband’s fave song and when it comes on the radio, he turns it up and will sing it to me.

I Love the way you love me

I used mostly Teresa Collections “Nine & Co.” (pattern papers, stickers, brads), with cardstock/flowers from Recollections and bling from Zva Creative.

The layout is based on Sketches in Thyme Sketch #153. And its by one of my fave designers Shawn Lahr! 🙂

Wonderful

This next layout started out looking like sketch #150 at Sketches in Thyme, but then it had a mind of its own!

Wonderful

And here is the sketch

Brenda may

I loved all the layering and the pieces at the top and bottom, followed by the smaller photos, matted, and with an embellishment in the middle.

I am continuing to use Teresa Collins “Nine & Co” for these pictures. I also used flowers from Hobby Lobby.

This layout is also for ACOT’s Supply List Challenge.  Shannon has picked up the challenge for Joannie and out of 10 items, we can use at least 5. Its spring oriented, so I chose flowers, ribbon, ink, plain cardstock and floral pattern paper.

TFL! 🙂
